My wife and I spent 2 fabulous days at The Bay of Many Coves. Wonderfully hosted by Elaine and Murray, we arrived by charter from Picton and were given a tour of the resort before relaxing back to a stunning dinner prepared by Chef Francesco. The weather was beautiful for the 2 days we were there and the grounds immaculate....

We spent four unexpectedly soggy days here in January thanks to unseasonably wet weather. But that didn't dampen our enjoyment of our time at the hotel. As so many other guests have said, the welcome from Elaine and Murray and the time and trouble they, and all the staff, took to make sure our stay was as enjoyable and relaxing...

I would describe my stay at Bay of Many Coves as one of those very special experiences in life. The individual apartments nestled in the New Zealand rain forest looking out on the spectacular views over Queen Charlotte sound, waking to the calls of tuis and kereru wood pigeons and the care and attention taken over each and every meal...

The only way here is by water taxi as no roads to the resort. Great 45 minute transfer at high speed and a very warm welcome. Beautiful area and small resort. Room was excellent, spacious and had everything including a great view. Free and acceptable speed wifi. Staff were really good and we especially enjoyed the wine tasting from Villa...

We spent 3 nights here, and were looking forward to it immensely. We weren't disappointed. The welcome from Murray and Elaine was warm and friendly. The location, overlooking the sound, was superb, and the accommodation was delightful, with a lovely large balcony giving us terrific views. They have a great spa, and fine dining to look forward to each evening....

We arrived on the river taxi from Picton to a very warm welcome from Murray and Elaine, they gave us a personal tour of the site and made us feel very at ease. We had a very casual lunch at the jetty restaurant, lovely informal food looking over the beautiful sound. The staff throughout our stay were all very engaging...

This was part of a month long honeymoon trip to beautiful New Zealand. We have been lucky enough to see many lovely places and stay with great friends. This part of our trip was a 2 night "honeymoon package" stay at this resort. It started well as the boat trip to the BOMCs was quite stunning. We were then greeted...

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at the Bay of Many Coves. We seem to have become a destination of choice for honeymoon couples and just love providing a special start to married life. As you know getting here by scheduled water taxi is all part of the magic of our unique remote location. This does,...

This is an amazing property. We have been in many luxury hotels in many lands. This is a stand out. The cove is accessible only by water or air. No roads. No cars. No trucks. The sense of tranquillity that creates in this small hotel is deep, and many faceted. It is a respite from the hustle and bustle of...

A really lovely boutique hotel in gorgeous surroundings the suites are very accommodating with all you could want. The food very good indeed although not cheap but the portions are large. Staff very friendly indeed. Would certainly recommend this small hotel.

We spend 4 nights here with our children (aged 11 & 12), over New Year. We had a great stay and were made to feel very welcome by everyone. We stayed in the 3 bed place which was more rustic than luxurious but clean and comfortable and suited our needs. The food here is fantastic! We had some great trips...
