What an idyllic setting! Elaine and Murray were great hosts. You must do Elaine's 'Peanut Slab' challenge and walk up to the view point with a panorama view of Queen Charlotte Sound stretching back to Picton! Also get the bean bags out and enjoy the afternoon sun on the quayside with a glass of Sauvignon Reserve! Food wonderful, and try...

Thank you for your review, we take great pleasure in getting to know our guests and try to add the personal touch where appropriate to your experience here with us. The seafood chowder is one of our best selling items on the menu and you are correct in saying a glass of award winning Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is a perfect...

From the minute you arrive to the minute you leave its beautiful, Murray and Elaine ensure that everything is right. Murrays wine tasting evening on our first night was great and let us meet the other guests. The views from all the rooms are fabulous. The restaurant, breakfast room and waterside cafe all have spectacular views across the bay. The...

Scenic 30 minute boat trip to reach the resort, such a delight to approach the little slice of heaven from the sea. Met and welcomed by the resort team, luggage dealt with from the jetty straight to the rooms without any fuss or bother. All the lodges are built into the cliff face and are either single lodges or double...

What a wonderful place. BOMC is a NZ Luxury Lodge. It is reached by a 30 minute water-taxi (Cougar Line) from Picton - or by helicopter, or by walking in on the Queen Charlotte Track. We took the water-taxi, all booked for us by BOMC to meet our arrival and departure times. BOMC also have a dedicated parking space in...

After arriving to the property via water taxi (the only way to get there besides helicoptor), you can immediately see this is special. My husband and I stayed here 2 nights for our honeymoon and had a villa with amazing views of the scenery. Our only wish was that we had stayed longer, as the Queen Charlotte trail is not...

I write this review having spent two nights there on a trip from London with my wife. Being a Kiwi, she was very excited to show me what the sounds have to offer and I really wasn’t disappointed! The resort is set in a beautiful location, being totally embedded in nature. Native bush on one side with a beautiful view...

Firstly this is a great location and all the lodges have wonderful views. The accommodation was well designed with separate living and sleeping areas and a mini kitchen and dining area. The hosts Murray and Elaine were very hospitable and Murray held a wine tasting event while we were there on Marlborough Sauvignons which was very good. Breakfasts in the...

We had 3 amazing nights at Bay of Many Coves in a 2 bedroom apartment. We travelled with our 2 children and both rooms had it's own bathroom. It was pure magic to lie in bed with the windows open and hear nothing but the water lapping the cove or the beautiful bird song. Murray and Elaine were wonderful hosts...

Thank you for your review. We will cater for all dietary requirements given enough notice and our chefs take these requests seriously and also as a great challenge to offer something a little more different than the normal offerings you may find elsewhere. The Lady Karen with R&R Cruises and in particular Gordy the skipper is our most popular excursion...

We've made our way to the Bay of Many Coves by water-taxi from Picton on a cold, cloudy, wintery September midday; an intermittent drizzle hassled our boat, and even managed to get us a bit gloomy, though the scenery around us was nothing short of stunning; well, the gloom was all gone and forgotten when, going around a bend in...
