A nice boutique hotel in downtown Jackson. I was pleasantly surprised with the room although I would have preferred not to have been on street level without bars on the windows. The included breakfast was very good, especially the grits which so many restuarants can botch. The parking lot is gated,

I took my mom for a weekend getaway. We were a little skeptical driving in but could not have been happier with our stay. This hotel has so much character. An old YWCA with very unique rooms. Grounds are beautiful and breakfast was wonderful. Looking forward to another visit soon.

We spent last night at the Old Capitol Inn and loved it. The inn was remodeled since a previous stay, we were very comfortable, and enjoyed the lovely decor. Each room has a different theme like the Elvis room (shhh...we peeped in as housekeepers were at work 😉) Ours had a pretty garden theme. The staff was accommodating and breakfast...

I was kind of uneasy about choosing Mississippi as a stopping point on my roadtrip, let alone downtown Jackson, but I decided to take a chance...and was heavily rewarded. This place is the kind of hotel you always hope for, and rarely get. First of all, this is not your typical boring cookie-cutter hotel chain you've seen a million times...

Wonderful breakfast and courtyard to eat it in. They could invest in ventilation/circulation for their kitchen as the whole hotel smells like the kitchen. Other than this, its a great place to stay. I also tip my hat to them that they don't use toxic room fresheners!

This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. After checking out and return to my place of work, the desk clerk called my job and tells them that they would be charging me for a House Rob that they assumed I took. I go back there ask them about it because I didn't take a thing from that room....

I enjoyed my stay with these guys. It was a little noisy due to a wedding party, but it was all good. The rooms are on the small side, but nice. The courtyard was awesome. My room even had a small balcony. It was pretty romantic and I would stay again for sure.

The lady at the welcome center booked this for us. The check in desk was like a step back in time with an old rounded front. There is an elevator. Our room was VERY small, only enough room for two small tables on each side. No desk or table to work a computer. The bathroom was very good and the...

Lovely charm to it... Went to a seminar and decided to stay there. Loved the size of the Walter Anderson Suite! They have a rooftop bar with 5-6 conversation hour where they offer wine, cheese, and fruit, complimentary... Beautiful restroom with fresh cut roses... LOVED their breakfast! I left there full! They allowed my husband a late check-out (12:30) since...

Stayed here one night with my girlfriend for a gotta-get-away one night trip. Hotel is very relaxing. Great place to stay on the weekends and nice things to do downtown. There was a wedding going on and we were about the only couple there not part of the wedding party, but we had fun nonetheless. Would definitely recommend this hotel...

“The small room we had was their least expensive, which, in our opinion, was still on the high side. The courtyard view is good.”
