Room was hot and humid, you have to pay for parking $14/ night even if it’s just overnight parking. Then $20 for breakfast per person for breakfast. The bed was very uncomfortable and felt damp. The pillows would be more fitting for a toddler size person. You could see the water stains from previous leaks l, and light covers missing so you could see all the dead bugs.

Hotel rooms are small, dirty and outdated. The whole area I stayed in was damp and musty. They failed to tell me about a 15 dollar a day parking fee. The buffet price is astronomical at 20 dollars a person.

*There were leaks throughout the building resulting in fans in the hallways to dry out the carpet *There were holes in dingy sheets that I removed from the bed because I didn’t feel comfortable sleeping with them. *There was a moldy odor throughout the hotel because of the leaks *An associate was notified of urine in the elevator. I used the stairs to get up and down during my stay. *I found hair on the countertops and the walls when I first entered my room. *There was a white film on the lamps, remotes and tables which looked like they were sprayed with some sort of solution but not cleans. *Housekeeping was very unprofessional and stood outside the rooms speaking very loudly on the phone during working hours. I truly hope that the standards of the Hilton had been reduced to such low quality. This stay was very unpleasant and I was no where near comfortable or satisfied.

Friendly staff, clean room and loved having the key sent to my phone. Would have given a higher rating, but I had trouble getting my room to cool down. It was too late in the evening for me to give them an opportunity to remedy the problem.

Brace yourselves. This is long, but my stay at the Hilton St. Louis was so absolutely terrible I am writing a very thorough summary so you can avoid my pain. The room was musty and unclean, the shower had stains in it that looked like a small puddle of vomit. I went to pull the hand towel off the rail after washing my hands and the towel bar fell off. After checking into my room late in the evening, I realized I had no toilet paper for the night and had to walk down to the lobby to get more, which was a decent trek since I was at the far end of the second tower. The front desk was already pissed off I was trying to get updates on my package (more on that later) they slammed the toilet paper down on the front counter for me without a word. The rooms have no luggage racks, no fridges, no microwaves. I had an important package that was supposed to be delivered for an event that no one could find and while they looked for it in a few places, I could not get anyone to seriously help me track it down at the front desk despite having a delivery confirmation. The manager on duty was actively avoiding me, as I saw him running around me stealthily as I waited in the lobby for updates. I left my number with the front desk multiple times that night and the next morning, no one ever called me back. I finally got a manager call back, but only after leaving a detailed complaint with corporate over Twitter and getting them involved. I was traveling with a sports team and since I’m the team manager I spent my entire weekend fielding complaints and receiving photos of issues at the hotel (which I also experienced) including the following: what appeared to be blood stained bedding, waking up to a flooded and wet bathroom floor, unclean rooms, hairs in the bathroom, bad smelling rooms, broken ice machines, rude front desk staff, and lack of call backs from management about complaints. The flooded bathroom floor was blamed on the rain by management, but I'm not quite sure sure how only the bathroom flooded on the fifth floor of an eight story hotel... The hotel was clearly unable to handle the volume of “guests” it had over the weekend. When I did finally hear from a manager, it was a bunch of excuses around the pandemic and labor market. And while I have no doubt it is all true, that’s his problem to manage not mine. I checked out of the hotel Sunday night and stayed sixty seconds dowBrace yourselves. And while I have no doubt it is all true, that’s his problem to manage not mine. I checked out of the hotel Sunday night and stayed sixty seconds down the street at the Double Tree St. Louis Airport. Which by the way, was absolutely spotless and felt like the Four Seasons after my previous experience. Somehow the Double Tree (also a Hilton property) managed to have a well run hotel despite operating in the same market. The Hilton St. Louis Airport did not even offer a partial discount for this disastrous stay. Avoid this hotel at all costs and stay somewhere else.
