Checkin was fine, The room was clean enough, but there was two iron prints on the carpet and no door handle on the bathroom door it had come off and just put in a drawer in the wadrobe, the shower was just a trickle, the toilet had to be pumped too flush. The bar was suppossed to shut at midnight...

Great hotel, the room and bed was great and the meal was fine. The only downside is that it is a little way out of town as it is involved in the rugby stadium complex, so access to pubs / food outlets is limited. Staff were very good and couldn't do more to help, I'd stay again.

Very nice hotel, great staff and Good offerings, bedrooms are clean and smell fresh, serves it's purpose well, would definitely stay here again when in the area. Breakfast is very good and the staff very friendly. Pool looks good did not get to use it maybe next time. Overall an excellent experience.

The staff were amazing, general manager Brandon also very nice and down to earth. You get a great breakfast at bargain price. Rooms well equipped tea coffee, hairdryer toiletries, towels. Carpet could do with updating, that said as a returning customer for he 3rd time and going back oct, I can say they have a lot of traffic in the...

There is nothing particularly bad about this hotel: the staff were friendly, the attached pub was convenient and the room was clean. However, the very aged decor, strange corridor smells and location on a busy road do not justify its price by any stretch. Pool was also closed for a long time.

Check in was fairly painless, once in the room it was evident that it hadn't been updated or maintained in a long time. The furniture was scratched and looked very tacky. There was a gap between the ceiling in the shower and the wall which you can see light through, it appears to go directly onto the hallway outside the...

Stayed here after travelling for a party. This place is not too bad at all. I would say that some of the previous reviews are right that this place is dated and could do with a refresh. However, for the price of £65 for a family of 4 bed and breakfast, we got a clean (if dated) room that was...

Stayed here Saturday 18th March on a national holidays visiting Liverpool and Salford Quays. Was a little apprehensive after reading the reviews on here but we couldn't fault it. Room was massive with 2 double beds. Plenty of space to get ready. Hotel itself had a lovely restaurant - had carvery as evening meal & then breakfast the next morning!...

This is a reasonably priced hotel so don't expect luxury ! we were staying for one night. Remember, you do get what you pay for, the room was warm and comfortable with a decent bathroom, food OK, nothing special with all the usual choices. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful , we enjoyed banter.

The welcome was good, but I did need to visit the reception twice as the plastic key didn't work first time ... I should note, it didn't go near my phone. The room is fine, I got one in the back of the hotel as I heard that the front can be a little noisy (hear say) Now the dinner........
