Been going to Sunburst now for 6 or 7 years. I have a group of 40 and they accommodate every need. Amy is awesome to work with, very knowledgeable of the area and her canoes are in great shape. Being right next to the river is just an added bonus, the camp sites for tents are flat and easy to...

My family and friends (a group of about 16) has gone every year in July for over 6 years. It is literally a blast. We range in age from 18-48 and we all have a great time together! Wouldn't want to go anywhere else for our annual trip!! We stay in the big lodge and it is so clean and...

The customer service I have experienced here is top rate! The kayaks I reserved were ready and waiting lined up on the shore complete with floatation devices and bags to tote your stuff. They were also waiting for us at our take out amd a bus was there in minutes to shuttle us back to our lodge. There are many...

The outfitter: Clean facility, lots of area to camp that are adjacent to the river, great general store with super helpful people. Clean bus for transportation and good solid fiberglass canoes, not the old aluminum ones. $40 a canoe includes two people, and transport for a 12 mile float. best outfitter on the river. The river: Nice and cool on...

Owner is a hoot, so great to work with. Very accommodating. We LOVED the cabin/house we rented. Perfect location, beautiful river and surroundings. Canoe equipment is in excellent condition. Our office went down for a trip together and it was such a perfect bonding time. Planning to try and go again next year.

They know us by name. Amy takes care of everything. We show up, our food is ready, we eat and head to float! We stay at the lodge house. It's big 4 bedroom 31/2 bath. Great for our group of 12-16 ppl.

Took my young kids on Labor Day weekend in 2014 and had a great time! Great campground, family atmosphere. No rowdies the two nights we were there! The float was wonderful and we had perfect weather. The staff was wonderful, helpful and nice and easy to work with. We will be coming back soon!

This was a great place. I have a group of friends and we float different places every year and this place was one of the best we've went to. They have a HUGE cabin just up the road from the main camp grounds. It sleeps probably around 16 but we took extra air mattresses and slept about 20. It has...

We come here every year for our annual float trip. Reservations are easy, we did not have to sign a series of waviers and info cards like our last camp trip. The owners pay a lot of attention to detail and they work hard to make sure everyone has a great experience. This campground attracts more of a family crowd...

“The cabin on the hill is excellent! The sleeper cabins are a solid basic choice, as are the rental RV's. If you are bringing your RV, try to get one of the spots that are right near the woods, as they have a fantastic amount of shade. If you are looking at staying in one of the cabins, plan on booking well in advance, as they go fast!”
