My husband and I spent a long weekend at the Ritz in St Louis for a CE meeting. The lobby is old school grand--dark woods, chandeliers, oriental rugs. The service was polite and prompt without being effusive as you would expect. Our room was fine, but a bit dated with some peeling wallpaper seams, and the mattress was comfy with... More

The service is exquisite and the whole experience first class. Going to the Ritz for a couple of nights is a mini vacation where you feel pampered and special. Every time I spend a couple of nights here, I am so delighted!! Their new gym is excellent. Their sushi is best I have had in a long while. Excellent!!!

We love the room service. The people are the reason we keep coming back. Rooms are large and clean. Bed was not a comfortable as home though. But the other amendities make up for that. The Sushi is the best

Recent business stay. Lovely common areas, great meeting spaces, spacious room. Not a great view in back of hotel, and you are too far from downtown St. Louis to get a nice view of the Arch, etc. Hotel in nice area, not downtown. Very friendly staff; always refreshing to hear "my pleasure" instead of "no problem"!

Excellent meeting facilities. Enjoyed the food variety (lots of fruit and other healthy options). Room was large and comfortable. All rooms appear to have a balcony (for best view, ask for a room on the front ... rear rooms overlook garage and busy road, but still quiet). Parking is convenient in the attached garage. Strong smell throughout hotel, but got... More

Beautiful hotel with exceptional staff, beautiful rooms, great service. It isn't located withing walking distance of a whole lot of things you'll want to do, but it is easy to get to those from here. There are some great little restaurants within walking distance and a few shops. Not a lot to do at the hotel itself but once you're... More

I enjoyed a quiet and comfortable stay there. The only reason I am not giving this hotel 5 stars is a few minor "gotchas". When I checked in, I requested extra decaf for the coffee maker, but it never came. I had to call again much later, and then it came quickly with an apology. The business center nickels and... More

My first experience with a Ritz-Carlton. Wow! No wonder it has such a high reputation. The property was beautiful. The decor amazing. The room and view were breath-taking. But it was the staff that won the prize. At every turn they anticipated my needs (forgotten toothbrush, jogging routes, local restaurants and attractions). I may not be able to afford a... More

Very nice hotel, very courteous staff, very expensive for my tastes, but conference was here, and we had reasonable conference rates. Room was clean, spacious; athletic club very well equipped, fruit and water everywhere. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

Overall, a good experience as one would expect from a Ritz. Very well organised checking and checkout. Impeccable room service, good quality of food. Friendly staff who mostly recognised you where ever you were in the hotel. The ambiance felt a bit tired compared to other Ritz hotels I have visited. One of the better places to stay in if... More
