This was a great place for my hunting party to use as a base for my elk hunting trip this fall, December 2020! The home is very warm and inviting, and Sheri is a fantastic hostess. Breakfast was as pleasing to the eye as it was to the appetite! Rooms were spacious and facilities were spotless and adequate with modern conveniences. We stayed 6 nights, using this for our hunting camp, just east of Current River Conservation area. Out before sunlight, back after dark. Shari was not only entertaining, but interested in our hunting escapades. We hunted hard, laughed hard, and learned so much about the area from Sheri! I would highly recommend this B&B for a getaway with the spouse, or hunting camp. Turkey, deer, elk, bald eagles, and a multitude of other wildlife abound! Great job Sheri.....we'll be back!

I love this quaint little cottage in Southern Missouri. Great location to all of the rivers and activities and it was just the spot to come home to each evening. Sherri is the best host that anyone could ask for. Coffee delivered to our rooms every morning along with a 5 star breakfast made from scratch (crepes, smoothies & the BEST bacon that I have ever had). The property is just perfect! Clean, comfy and NO internet! It was a perfect weekend getaway. And the hummingbirds were something that I have never seen! We will be back to see Sherri at her fantastic home.

HomePort is so much more than a bed& breakfast. Our host Sherri is welcoming and entertaining. The property is gorgeous.. everything looks brand new. Decorated in lots of homey touches and Americana. Close to the floating rivers but it is a destination all by itself. Breakfast was delicious. Too many terrific things to mention. Highly recommended. This was my first B&B. I recommend HomePort to fun couples.

Sheri is a wonderful host who goes our of her way to make the stay in this made over country farm a memorable experience. Friendly atmosphere and guest pampering are the norms for visitors. Definitely one of those destinations you will plan on returning to.

Very peaceful and picturesque bed and breakfast with miles and miles of off road trails at the end of the driveway. 10 minutes from Blue spring and 10 minutes from the best spot on the Current river, the logyard. You have the place to yourself. She only rents to one group at a time. Sheri is also wonderful company.

I loved staying at the Homeport Inn in Ellington Missouri. Sherri's infectious smile and warm hugs will welcome you during your stay. A warm breakfast, coffee and pastries will be ready when you awake in the morning. It is so quiet on her farm for a perfect getaway. I will definitely be returning to the Homeport Inn!

Comfortable, charming, meticulously done, caring hosts, great breakfast, and a special touch to start the day (a 'magic window' where coffee and pastry are available to early risers) - the only drawback is that the main guest room has a noticeably slanted roof which impinges upon the space in the room, especially if a guest happens to be tall - overall. it passes the most important test: I would happily return to the Homeport Inn if I were ever in the area again.
