Really enjoyed being able to rent a camper and not have to haul one myself. Woke up to a beautiful sunrise on the river. My friends and I enjoyed hanging out around the fire pit provided and stocked with fire wood.

I looked for cancellation policy while booking. After receiving confirmation it was noted it was a 30 day %80 percent refund. The manager had to walk me through the website to find this information. I also tried to reach by email, I never received a reply.

Can’t get refund on damage deposit. Received email that deposit would be credited and three months later have not received. We left property very clean and no damage. Coffe pot didn’t work so we returned and we got the same non working coffee pot back.

It’s a charming place and has very cool metal art around the property. When we arrived Tuesday we didn’t meet a manger or staff, we just found an envelope on the office door with our last name on it, key and map to cabin inside, no one else staying in the other dozen cabins in this the strip. Wednesday morning went to the office to add an additional night to our stay, manager was there, added the night to our “girls trip”. It was clear to them that 3 middle age women were staying there for a “get away”. Wednesday afternoon we returned from sightseeing to find we had neighbors, not any neighbors, but a couple with 4 children under the age of 6! With a dozen vacant cabins, the manager puts this cabin of 4 little kids next to 3 solo middle age women…wtf! Plus didn’t mention our incoming neighbors when we were there that morning adding a night to our stay. These cabins are so close you can reach your hand out and touch the neighbors hand from balcony to balcony. I’m reasonable, if it was the only cabin available I would never complain, but this wasn’t the case. I went to the office, but no one was around, called the number no answer. Soon another guest arrives with 2 little kids and is in the cabin on our other side. Then we figure out our neighbors are best friends and there together!! Omg and we are in the cabin between besties with 6 littles 😬😖 I’m not complaining about the neighbors or their kids, I have kids, they were just being kids, BUT how inconsiderate of the manager when their were still 10 empty cabins, the besties could of been neighbors, we could of had a cabin spaced out on down the row. We talked to the neighbors, and like us, they had made reservations ahead of time, so management had opportunity to coordinate assigned cabins. We left on Friday and the other cabins set vacant the whole time. You can tell this place was someone’s passion and so much love has been poured into the details of the property, but you can also tell that it’s recently changed hands and starting to be “let go” and is just an investment for some absent owner.…

My wife, myself, our daughter and one of her friends stayed at River's Edge, Tuesday and Wednesday night, July 19th and 20th, 2022. We stayed in the Suite Over the River. It worked perfectly for us. Private bedrooms, good beds and a great view of the river. We thoroughly enjoyed our porch neighbors. Our suite was very clean, and the staff was absolutely wonderful. The ladies that I dealt with in the office were very accommodating and very customer oriented. We will be staying there again. Thank you for the wonderful service.

I have been staying here almost every year since 2007 (missed last year) and knew as soon as we pulled in it was under new management. Everything was overgrown and dirty. The steps were rotting. There was no toilet paper in the room. The balcony was filthy with a full ashtray. I went and told the girl in the office and she just looked at me. I have to go back for toilet paper and no one cleaned the balcony. Which shouldn't come as a surprise since they NEVER clean the rooms anymore. They used to supply a fire pit with complimentary firewood, hammock, outdoor activities and kept up with mowing and raking the sand. We will never return to River's Edge. I was embarrassed taking a friend that had never visited before.

We rented the River House for a family get away. The house wasn't clean. The staff were not available on Saturday or Sunday. We needed to get in touch with the staff and the emergency number mailbox was full so we couldn't reach any staff for 2 days. The beach was nothing like the website picture. The beach was all grown up and not really easy to get to the river. The location is nice but the management need to work on their customer service and offer a better experience. When we talked to the staff after we left they were very rude and hung the phone up on us. I don't recommend you staying here. There are many other options in the area that are much better.

Beautiful river, quiet area, and a perfect cabin to enjoy your significant other! Porch swing, fire pit, BBQ grill etc. Jack's cabin was amazing. Several local food options as well. There is a pretty waterfall near hear. And you must see alley springs

Buyer beware! This company engages in consumer gouging with some very shady business practices! I booked a reservation for two cabins for October 2022 (for my daughter's wedding) and paid in full immediately via PayPal. My daughter decided to change venues, so I called to cancel my reservation today and was informed by Leslie that I won't receive 20% or $366 of my reservation back because that was their policy. Now mind you, they never told me of any such policy verbally or in writing. Leslie claims she told me on the telephone back in October 2021 but that is complete BS. A complaint has been filed with the Missouri Attorney General's office.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We drove in for a weekend of visiting all the springs and stayed at Rivers Edge in the lodge. It was super clean and so peaceful. Will definitely stay here again. Eminence is a small town but we were able to see the beautiful fall foliage and visit all the springs. There is a mexican restaurant across the the hwy. from the lodge that is very good and the Dairy Shack is a must stop for ice cream. Loved our stay.
