We stayed at the Shady Lane Cabins while taking pictures of area springs and mills. My tests of a motel room is whether the sink drain works; is there enough hot water for 2 to shower, and, does it heat/cool efficiently. SL did well on all criteria. At $40/night this is a good deal.

Stayed over Labor Day weekend. We have stayed there the last two or three years in a row, but unfortunately the cabins have become a little more musty than the year before. I think that the majority of people staying there are there to go canoeing. That means lots of wet clothing and leaking coolers and the floors have carpeting,...

We appreciate your input. We get a handful of complaints about musty cabins each year, and we tackle them as soon as they are brought to our attention. You see, neither our head housekeeper nor I have a a good sense of smell - so admittedly, if you have a keen sense of smell, it can be a concern. As...

My husband and I wanted to visit the Ozark springs. Shady Lane has a variety of accommodations. We chose Story Creek Manor. It is lovely, comfortable, and spacious. The managers are very friendly. Jack's Fork River is a short walk away. We look forward to returning sometime. I have already recommended it to relatives.

What a great place to stay in a beautiful and remote area. We stayed in s small cabin. Very spacious and clean and convenient to the town and river activities. Bed was nice too. I'd come back here for sure.

The cabins are better than the hotel rooms, much better. The cabins are large and clean with two double beds. The establishment is close to town, gas station, car wash and am ok Mexican restaurant. Canoe hire is next door. Self service laundry is on site.

This place is really run well, is clean, well kept, and you could not get any better treatment anywhere. All my friends also stay here and love. Have stayed here often over the years. Would not stay anywhere else when visiting Eminence. This place has so much to do and see. Highly recommend .

Stayed here for one night while visiting Ozark NSR. Location is very convenient to all of the major sites in Ozark. Paid ahead of time so staff left cabin open to accommodate our late arrival. Cabin was comfortable and AC and fridge worked well. Bed was not very firm and bowed in the middle. Left in the morning to do...

Stayed here 2 nights, had 3 booked but the bed was sooooo uncomfortable we could not stand to stay another night! We did not sleep at all, even after kayaking for 15 miles 2 days in a row!! Unless you like sleeping on a rock, i DO NOT advise staying here!!!

Since 2004, we have used hotel/motel foundations and mattresses from Justice Bedding and the bed in question is new and was put into service in February 2016. Justice beds are quality beds and they are used in many nationwide hotel chains. I've noticed Justice beds in Drury Inns and Stoney Creek Resorts while staying there. Hotel beds are firm, supportive...
