Donna at the front desk was amazing- very helpful, friendly and made sure we had a wonderful stay. Cabin was large, clean, beds were new and comfortable. Cabins were all in set back in the trees with plenty of shade, outdoor grill and fire pit. Playground for the kids was really neat. Many places to eat and stores within walking distance, Cabins do not have microwaves or coffee pots, though coffee is available for free at the front desk. Keep in mind that the place does not have river access but there are many places to swim on the river with in a very short drive. We found the place quiet and relaxing, especially enjoyed sitting under stars by the fire.

We stayed in the upstairs of #11. It was very roomy and clean for a kayak get a way for the girls. It had two full size beds(they seem to be full), full kitchen, back deck and front porch. It was walking distance to some of the restaurants.

We have stayed at Shady Lane for years. We have rented the individual cabins, the house, hotel, the large 2 story cabins. She have also already booked for next year. Our family 6 adults plus grandkids really like this place. Currently they are updating the cabins. Our cabin had new flooring and lights. We used Harvey's canoe rental and picked us up right at our cabin door.

We rented three cabins and a motel room for a group of 20 family and friends ranging from 12 - 65 years old for a birthday celebration, winter canoe trip, and sight seeing.

The cabins are excellent ... beds and bedding are nice, bathrooms are clean, kitchens are nice, and everything has a comfortable feel to it.. The fire pits are very convenient. The entire property is located within a short walk to the river and restaurants (I highly recommend ‘Dos Rios’).

The owner and staff are incredibly nice and sincere people. They are responsive to questions and accommodating in every sense of the word.

We had plenty of room to park our vehicles and canoe trailers, and the area was well lit and secure.

For many years we have enjoyed spending a few early spring days in the Eminence, Missouri area exploring the many big SPRINGS and always stay at the Shady Lane where you are considered family by the Andersons and
staff members. Good clean, comfortable, safe lodging at very reasonable prices.

Checkout Alley Spring & Mill, Blue Spring, Welch Spring, Greer Spring, Round Spring, BIG Spring, Rocky Falls
and others.
Most of these beautiful springs are within a short hiking distance and offer many photo-ops.
*Comfortable shoes and a walking stick are advised...

You will enjoy spending time in this area where the water run clear and cool...

See ya down the road... .. .O o- Carl (BC Mayor..=)~

My husband and I were looking for a place to stay in the Ozarks, a place that would be easily accessible (important for my husband), clean and quiet. We found just that in the small town of Eminence at Shady Lane. We had a cabin with 2 queen size beds, our own porch to sit on and enjoy the beautiful lawn and birds. We were within driving distance of many sights and activities. There are local restaurants and one grocery. It's not a big place but it was welcoming and our hosts were most friendly and helpful.

We were pleasantly surprised at the roominess of their small cabins. they had two queen size beds and plenty of space. Two front chairs sit on the front porch for a pleasant evening out. There was a playground for our daughter and she enjoyed it.

The people running the cabins were pleasant and very helpful. Easy to find. We didn't think about this ahead of time, but there is no phone service in the cabin and in fact, there was no cell phone service at all. We had to drive to a lookout point to get cell service - but what can you expect - afterall you are in the Mark Twain National Forest and it was nice not having all the technolgy. Wifi was available if you were lucky - we managed to connect once, but not a big deal.

Went river rafting - Harveys' Rental was very helpful, picked us up at our cabin to take us on our float trip and was there to pick us up at the designated time to take us back to our cabin.

Eminence is a nice, small town but well worth the trip.

My wife and I rented a cabin for two nights this May so we could raft on the nearby river. This property is kept VERY clean and run by some very hardworking people. Every question that we asked was answered with very good information and a lot of thought. They gave us rafting tips ( Harvey's trips ) and even did a load of wash for us for $ 6.00 !!! What else is there to say. A fine value of a rental run by people whom one wants to support.

This was a great clean little motel. The price was way less then what I expected for this place. it was close to the river and all the little stores. We used the Windy's rafting service while we were there, they were very friendly and helpful also. This is a great place to spend the weekend.

Room Tip: If you can get a cabin, do so. But the motel rooms are just as great.

Our family, which includes 4 teen-agers, stayed at Shady Lane and loved our time in Eminence. We stayed in Cabin 10 and utilized both the top and bottom of the cabin. It was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked and we also had a fire pit and grill. We did not have a view of the river but it was only a short walk away across the manicured and well lit grounds. Shady Lane also has an area where you can do your own laundry or they will do it for you (at a small cost). We will definitely stay here again.
Also near our cabin was a cute little store, The River Shop, where we were able to purchase gently used fishing poles and a cooler for our floats down the river. Mindy, the owner, offered to buy the items back (at a reduced price) which was wonderful since we didn't want to bring these items on our flight from home or our return flight. We ran out of sunscreen and she had it, we ran out of bugspray and she had it, we needed firewood and she had it as well as things to purchase to remember Eminence and the beautiful rivers.

Hello, our rates depend on the type of unit you stay in; please call us to see what units are available and we can quote you a price for that unit. Jeanie 573-226-3893

Yes. A neighboring resort allows us to use their gravel bar (beach). It is walking access only and it is about 150 yards from your cabin. Please NOTE that our rates reflect the fact that we are not on the banks of the river. Thank you for your note.
