We came into town for our sons wedding and enjoyed our entire stay. The reception was held here and it was absolutely magnificent. I will definitely stay here the next time I am in town. Also, some of the best beds and pillows for sleeping.More

I think opulent is the correct wording for this particular Hilton. Of course Grand is another word to use as well.

Everything about this hotel is top notch, from the grounds to the amenities to the staff to the rooms. The pool is pretty hard to beat, too. The beds are comfy, all cotton sheets and bed covers. The place was extraordinarily clean.

I am not aware of special romantic rooms, but they have many weddings there and perhaps have a honeymoon suite. Inside the room on the desk on wonderful guide magazines. By all means, go to the top of the arch and explore the museum below. Drive through Forest Park (created for 1904 Worlds Fair) to visit world famous zoo, very reputable art museum, the Jewel Box, and the lovely scenery. Get tickets for a performance at the Muny Opera (easy to do online) to see a Broadway show outdoors. Visit Missouri Historical Society. Take a sightseeing trolley that leaves down by the Riverfront. Lunch in "the Loop" to visit interesting shops,
restaurants, and art galleries. Take a ride on the Metro to some of the sights. It is a fabulous city not enough people think about for a vacation!
