Double charged for my room. When I called they said it was a security hold and to contact my bank. I did contact my bank and they confirmed that the funds had been released to the hotel. I had to file a dispute claim and I am waiting to get my $207.80 back.
Staff at the front desk was friendly, however I can’t say the same for the house keeper. My flight was rescheduled and I flew in a lot earlier for a funeral then anticipated. Anyway, we have a reservation for a later time but I have other family members here, so I’m using their room to shower and get ready for a funeral. I asked the house keeper for a washcloth and a towel, and she told me “no, I don’t have any extra, everything I have is for my rooms” how hard is it to give a guest a wash clothe and towel. I know for a fact you have extras and you were literally right next to laundry room. I’ve stayed at La Quintas all across this country and never have I’ve experienced a lazy person such as this. Now, to talk about the room. The floors are dirty, there is black mold in the shower, the ceiling looks like it collapsed and they patched it which is fine, but there is black mold up there too. I saw roaches in the common area where they serve breakfast, there was some bug on a washcloth that was left in the hallway and my aunt said something but her up in her room. And not to mention the floors were dirty, there were someone’s hair on the washcloths and towels, inside the sheets too. Oh yeah, and I literally had to slam the door so it would close all the way.…
I enjoyed the stay over all except when the cleaning staff entered the room without knocking before I checked out. The food was excellent and the room was awesome. I would stay there again when in the area.
Overall this was a decent experience for a 1 night stay. I would not have wanted to stay longer. The room was clean overall, the breakfast was very good. Staff was professional and seemed to take pride in their hotel.
Everything was good and I was happy with my stay and I stay there years ago and that why I came back for the cleaness and appearances and the staff was nice and helpful and the bed was clean and comfortable
