We wanted to stay in Higginsville and ths is the only motel immediately in town. The outside is well-kept and the room was very clean, quiet, updated and fairly large. The room had a small counter with sink, micro-wave oven and dorm fridge. There was a comfortable easy chair, desk, two bed stands and a queen-size bed. The bath was...

The Classic Inn motel was a great place to stay. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and the price was reasonable. Newly remodeled and best of all it is American owned and operated. Definitely recommend this motel.

My first impression when I entered the room was that it was impressively clean and that the furnitures seemed new. What appealed to me about staying here was the name Classic motel. My uncle and I were doing Route 66 with a classic car. And we tried to stay true with the whole trip by doing anything thats related to...

I had to get off the highway because of a snowstorm and the owners of this motel were very kind and accomodating. This was one of the cleanest, coziest motels I have staying in while on a cross country road trip. It is not the Ritz or anything but it is cute, clean and it felt very safe. I would...

My 77 year old mother and I spent 4 nights at this motel while visiting Higginsville for her class reunion. I had talked to owners Scott and Shauna 3 different times on the phone to confirm our reservation. I was told that check-in time was at 3 pm but when we arrived at 4:30 pm, the office door was locked...

Americans are being advised to "get off the Interstate" as much as possible in order to deepen our appreciation for the people and institutions that make up our country. Getting off of Interstate 70, or even Interstate 35, is definitely worth it if the destination is anywhere around Higginsville, MO. The town is far enough east from the urban sprawl...

This place is incredible! We came in as strangers and left as friends. Scott and Shana are remarkable people running an amazing place! Where do I start the beds are incredibly comfortable. The huge flat screen TV on the wall is amazing . and ceiling fan. The bathrooms are like the one I would love in my home. No doubt...

Room, bathroom, and bed seemed clean. Huge turnoff: Very thin towels and washcloths were all stained, and saw mascara stain on a pillowcase. Gross. Seemed as if they had been washed, but not bleached. One pillow was older and flat - also gross. Good thing we bring our own pillows. Saw 3 flies in the room when we checked in,...

We stayed at the Classic Motel when we encountered an ice storm while traveling cross country. The motel is a family run business that has recently been remodeled. The owners were very helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. They had cable television and free wi-fi. There was also a small refrigerator and microwave. We only stayed one night...
