Coming from grasse via col d'allos (very demanding climb and descend).....even at 23:50!..... a warm welcome, including a few drafts and a plate of local cheeses and an interesting chat with the owner. Room was correct, bath a bit small but tidy and clean. Anytime again!

After a day's drive through the mountains we were made very welcome. Our group was offered a fixed menu which was well presented, served with courtesy and tasted excellent. The only minor disappointment was the breakfast which (we did have a lie in) at 8:30 was a bit sad. The room was not large but was comfortable, clean and very... More

we visited as a group of cyclists, and that is the "bread and butter" of this hotel. The rooms are somewhat variable 4 of our party were accomodated in the Gite opposite, 4 in miniscule twin rooms, and 2 of us in a huge room (for 5!), lino on the floors led to this being dubbed the "lino hotel", there... Arrived at the hotel and was welcomed by the young guy on reception. Very good English speaker. Very professional. Showed me to my room which was a good size, however it had a double bed with bed head at top and bottom, which is not good for me being 6ft 2in. However, he spotted this before I even mentioned it... We stayed one night on our way from Italy to Provence. I had booked a double room in advance. When we arrived the young man on reception apologised that the hotel was overbooked but that there was availability in the apartment over the road. So we had a spacious apartment with living area, kitchen and outside patio as well as... More

As mentioned elsewhere very handy for the col de Bonette - the run down to here from the col is so beautiful (and not a steep and scary as the climb up the otherside). The are is simply stunning hence so many cyclists and motorbikes. We arived at a decent time so managed to get garage parking (well, shed parking)... More

I cannot thank our hosts enough for the hospitality and help they showed us on our recent stay here. The staff went out of their way to help us plan our onward journey. The drinks in the bar with some locals was really fun. The beer at 11.3 percent was an experience that I won't forget in a hurry! I... More

Great location, we enjoyed this hotel and its very helpful hostess and its food. Very nice staff, excellent WiFi, very motorbike friendly. The room was perfect for our requirements and clean: Secure parking and garage is free. Good for touring the "Cols" in the area. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to bikers.

The hotel is situated just a few minutes outside the centre of Jausiers, very close to the road over Col de la Bonette. We stayed here for one night with our 2 bicycles (fairly securely stored in a locked garage next to the hotel) on a trip from Grenoble to Nice. Very pleasant hosts, clean and comfortable room with mountain... More
