Excellent little place. Couldn't complain about the traffic noise but might have been because of where our room was (and the aircon was a little loud). Rooms were well kept and the shower had hot water - a rarity. Arturo was super helpful. We'd arranged an early morning exit for a trek and he and Esmeralda got up super early...

Again a Susanna recommendation. Arturo and Esmeralda are lovely, their English is limited but one of our party spoke reasonable Spanish so we got by! The chopped fresh fruit at breakfast was superb and I miss ripe mango and guava so much....... The accomodation is basic but very clean and a great shower. Again we had lots of help with...

This B&B is aside of an important road, that means it is a bit loud. The room was in the first floor, good and simple. The bathroom was as well small, however, everything clean. The aircondition was loud but efficient. Our dinner was good with a soup, salad and marinated and braised meat. - Only in 15 min you reach...

This place is nice, rooms are comfortable, water is hot, air conditioners work, etc. People are friendly, service is great. Every day our bedding was washed and we had fresh towels. They also did our laundry when we needed and gave us breakfast when we asked for it. The only downside and it is a considerable one is that any...

Host , Arturo is friendly and helpful , and spoke excellent English. Arranged drivers and suggestions for stay in Bayamo. Room clean but dated. Arturo building new small hotel next door. Casa is on busy road, noisy at times. Food excellent. Five minute walk to clean colourful Bayamo center.

I've been there and all room are very good , very fresh and can also go to terrace even if you are not at the upper room. They can arrange transportation & take you to the best Restaurant at the Historical city and destination out of Bayamo.

I had a wonderful stay in this casa particular. Arturo speaks some English and was extremely helpful in making arrangements for my trek to the mountains, even connecting me with two Spaniards who were also going so we could split a cab. Esmeralda is wonderful. We spent an hour one evening sitting on the front stoop, working on her English...

We spent only 1 night in this house, but we could feel at home, thanks to its family atmosphere, to its nice hosts and, above all, to the great breakfast we had there. Indeed, it was one of the best we had in Cuba. Besides, Arturo and Esmeralda are lovely people and are always looking after the well being of...

My partner and I stayed at the lovely casa of Arturo and Esmeralda on 10 October. We went to Bayamo for the Independence Day celebrations and then went up the Comandancia de la Plata trek the next day. The casa is centrally located and the room we stayed in had its own private secure roof terrace with a super view...
