This is the first KOA we have camped in. A friend suggested staying here because we were just staying one night on our way through and KOA's have Kamping Kitchens and we would not have to unpack the stove for a hot meal. We were very disappointed to find the Kamping Kitchen consisted of dirty counters and a very dirty...

It's an old KOA, but the check-in was quick and friendly. 50 Amp power was strong and hookups were standard. We took a pull through site for our 37 ft fifth wheel and long wheelbase dually. It was plenty long. The best this thing was the pizza, baked fresh in the office and delivered to our site piping hot! We...

We went to this campground for one night at the beginning of May. It was really hot and I was happy the swimming pool was already open (even though after all, we didn't have time to use it)... We got a nice shaded site for our tent for $25. Restrooms were clean, the shop was really nice and there were...

Spent one night here on our way west to camp in some of national parks. For camping, this KOA is adequate. 1. Clean but very dated restrooms. No hand soap provided. 2. Average size/type camp sites but not maintained beyond gravel/mowed grass. Lots of branches, etc had to be moved before we could put the tents up. 3. Little interaction...

I'm from AZ so to camp under trees is nice. I liked the nice touches of a fish and turtle pond, motor rentals, space to spread out. September weather was perfect there in the 60's. The homemade breakfast was great to gas up. Had a nice real conversation with the host. The gift shop had the necessaries and gifts which...

Used 34 foot RV traveling to Grand Canyon and visited thisKOA as our first stop. Had three teenaged boys along who loved the facility. They fished at on site pond til after dark. Very tidy and attractive. Went to great local restaurant called Undercliff that is a must visit also! It's a very unique business built inside of a cliff,...

My friends and I stayed several days and would have stayed longer had the staff there or we were told the owners NOT been so rude, they were the most non-caring people I have see try to run a business. They (man and his wife) sat in back of the office and if you needed anything, they acted as if...

We stayed here one night while passing through the area. I called ahead to make the reservation and the staff was courteous and polite on the phone. It's location is great for those passing by and needing something right off the interstate. It's also close to McDs and a few gas stations. Despite its proximity to the interstate and another...

Just got back from a week at KOA. 26 of us were in Joplin for a mission trip. The owners graciously allowed us to use what we referred to as the pink room without charge. This was a large dining room with a kitchen that allowed us cook our meals and eat inside (with air conditioning). They were very accommodating....

Wasn't sure what to expect. Read the mostly negative reviews after making reservations. Very few campers there, in spite of it being the start of Memorial Day weekend. The pull-through site was level.had adequate water pressure for the trailer. Lady at the office was friendly, young man guiding us to our site was not unfriendly. All golf carts we saw...

“Stay AWAY from the back of the campgound where the man lives in the mobile home. He plays loud music early morning and middle of the night!! Then he lets his dogs run free and screams at them to the top of his lungs while they pay him little attention....He's part of the same rude family that runs this place!!!”
