Being at a convention with 10,000 people letting out and mad-dashing for their favorite Marriott can be a pain- especially if you like the 21st floor for the view! NO PAIN HERE! Their programmable elevators have eliminated the wait- even when large crowds are emerging at the same time! This convenience was only surpassed by the SILENCE of our room-...

As Marriott's go, it's a decent stay. Very close to the KC Convention Center and close to many good restaurants. The room itself was spacious and clean, but dated. One item of frustration, no plugs near the bed. So no way to plug up a mobile phone near the bed. You'd think KC Marriott could at least put in lamps...

The hotel itself is very large spanning two sites with a sky bridge in between. Lots of places to sit and relax or have impromptu customer meetings if on a business trip. I was a bit disappointed with the room. While it was clean and fresh smelling along with a comfortable bed, there were virtually no power outlets. There was...

The hotel faces the Barney Allis Plaza and is a block from the Municipal Auditorium and the Convention Center. The nicely decorated, large lobby area is continuous with an American restaurant, a bar and a coffee shop. The property also has an indoor pool and a gym. Other amenities include a business center, paid parking and laundry services. Their modern...

Great concierge and has a great program where if you don't need housekeeping, they will give you 500 points per night of stay due to not needing services. What a great idea and they should replicate across all Marriott's. I took the 129 bus line which takes you directly from the KCI airport to two blocks from the hotel. Very...

We spent the Easter weekend, 2017 in Kansas City and since we are rewards members chose to stay at the Marriott downtown Kansas City, MO. The location was great. The only issue is their self parking system. It takes several swipes of your room key at the right level to get out of the parking garage. They should really re-work...

This is the third time that I lodge here and I recommend this hotel because it is strategically located at the downtown. The rooms are clean and the personal is friendly. The restaurant serves good food but there are many options close to the hotel that are better.

Stayed at the KC Marriott on President's weekend, a busy one for conferences, competitions, and dinosaur exhibits. The Marriott appeared to be booked full to the brim, but never felt overly crowded. The new elevator system where you type in your floor and it directs you to the right elevator definitely eases the lobby traffic. The lounge area was basically...

I stayed here for two nights on the weekend when my granddaughter had a volleyball tournament.
