Our family of 4, including our two kids aged 9 and 5 loved this place. It is a little far from Inhambane and involved crossing the channel and then driving about an hour. When we got there we were greeted by Suzanne with coconut cocktails :) and the view from the main lodge reception was breathtaking. Our checkin was smooth...

The view was absolutely amazing and beautiful chalets with lots of spaces and calming design. They were clean and tidy as well. This is the place to go if you want a quiet hideaway with no communication with the world outside and just relax. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Bonji, the jack russel, provided a lot entertainment for...

My husband and spent a lovely week at Massinga Beach in the middle of October. The staff were attentive but unobtrusive, the scenery was spectacular and it was the perfect place to go for a relaxing get away from the daily grind. The rooms (sea facing) are really special with a beautiful deck overlooking the sea where you can relax,...

Dear Massinga Team, Thank you so very much for making our honeymoon so special. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were treated with so much care and hospitality. The food was absolutely out of this world not to mention the delicious cake served at tea time. Our room was superb and the view was magical....

Incredible staff and service, heavenly chalets with huge spaces, beds and perfect little plunge pools, delicious food even for vegetarians, love lack of electric buzz and hard-to-get cell signal. Peaceful. Best bit is stunning open plan shower and bathtub with endless ocean vista yet complete privacy. Worst bit is that holidays end.

We had a fantastic week at beautiful Massinga Beach! The staff are just wonderful - always friendly and welcoming but unobtrusive. The rooms are big and comfortable and with a beautiful coastline to walk along (and warm water to swim in!), the recliners at the beach bar and a good selection of books in the library, relaxation is so easy....

We were recommended Massinga by Mozambique Travel in Cape Town for its luxury and privacy. The lodge definitely delivered on both and much more.We chose Massinga for our honeymoon destination as we wanted a private relaxing time away in the middle of nowhere that still offered a few activities if we felt so inclined. Firstly it is a little bit...

An absolute gem! The spacious and beautiful palm thatch and wooden bungalows on stilts with breathtaking views from the crest of a dune overlooking a pristine stretch of palm- fringed coast make this lodge a little piece of Eden. The beach bar and staff who couldn't be more willing are a recipe for decadent indulgence. Negatives include the fact that...

Thank you for your positive comments and valuable feedback about the perception of what the new houses will do to Massinga Beach. We are grateful for the opportunity to clarify our intentions.
