My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here at Brashear House. It was very peaceful in the large quite wooded yard. We had several large rooms with plenty of room to "spread out". This suite would be especially good for business traveler. Tiffany was a wonderful hostess and very accommodating. This is a nice place to stay while in Kirksville.

The Brashear House is a warm and inviting Bed & Breakfast in a great and quiet location. The Master Suite is spacious and comfortable. The bed is very comfortable. The private bathroom is on the larger side which is nice. The mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot are great to have in the room as well. Tiffany has been running her Bed & Breakfast for many years and it shows in the excellent and seamless experience from booking to checkout. Her 3 children are very sweet and also welcoming. My daughter (student at Truman) and I thoroughly enjoyed our time together. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when I visit Kirksville.

I was so excited to learn that Kirksville has had the Brashear House B & B for over 15 years. I grew up in Kirksville, and wanted to come home for a visit. The Brashear House is now my "home away from home." Tiffany is an excellent innkeeper, warm, hospitable and knows about what to do and where to go in Kirksville. The inn is comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the breakfasts were ample and tasty. It was a delightful visit!

On June 17, 2007 I spoke with the innkeeper of the Brashear House Bed & Breakfast in Kirksville, Missouri regarding a reservation. I wanted to reserve rooms for my daughter’s college graduation in 2008. She informed me that for graduation she requires a two night stay and the whole house would need to be reserved. After my daughter visited the house I called the innkeeper back and gave her my personal information and credit card to reserve the house. I asked for a confirmation number but she said I wouldn't need one that "she would remember me." The house consisted of three bedrooms and a fourth that they were trying to finish. Over the course of the year I spoke with her on "several occasions" regarding the status of the fourth bedroom and other questions I had about our stay. Then on Tuesday, May 6th (3 days before our arrival) I called again to confirm our arrival time for Friday, May 9th. She informed me that the house was no longer available because they had booked it for a wedding! But she said not to worry because she had found somewhere else for us to stay. She called around and found a hunting lodge 12 miles outside of town, down some gravel road, out in the woods, that had been shut down for the winter, that we could stay in....yea right! When I told her the hunting lodge was not acceptable. She simply said well I am sorry, but you can't stay here and that I was "stressing her out." I was the one stressed because she broke our verbal agreement and I had 15 people coming for graduation from out of state with no where to stay and every hotel in town booked! Warning don't stay at the Brashear House Bed & Breakfast in Kirksville, Missouri. They can't be trusted, they are unprofessional, and they will not keep their commitment.

Brashear House Bed & Breakfast was fabulous for our ONLY daughters bridal shower. Tiffany Norris the owner was willing to go above and beyond her services of us using the facility for a cozy,"HOME LIKE" atmosphere for all who attended. Many traveled 3 hours to attend...The B&B, was so inviting and warm, with the fall decor and huge yards for the little attendee's to run and play in. Would Highly recommend the Brashear House Bed & Breakfast for any needs. The rooms are gorgeous and plenty of room, beautifully decorated and maintained Business.

The suite was very very spacious and comfortable. We slept well. The breakfast was very very good . I am so glad we stayed here instead of in a hotel. It was really relaxing and nice to spend time out on the porch in the evening. The owner was very communicative and easy going. We loved it!

Tiffany is so friendly and helpful. It's always a joy to stay at the Brashear House B&B. The house is warm and inviting. The bed in the master sweet is wonderful. I always sleep so well when I'm there. The private bath makes the stay truly wonderful. Its like having your own apartment. The wifi signal is strong. There is plenty of room to park whether I am in my 4x4 pickup, or lil hatchback.
