Comfortable mattress. Great shower head and water pressure/temperature. It was quiet and clean. Decent/average hotel for two nights. However, we paid $118/night due to hunting season (not why we were there). They were out of milk for breakfast cereal before 9 AM on Saturday. Blanket in closet area had holes and was very old (however, clean). I can't really complain much since I had no problem sleeping and was comfortable. However, don't expect national TV channels like ABC, NBC, CBS. (We were gone most of the day, but hubby was hoping to watch a game on ABC. ) Don't expect to eat breakfast there unless you are very early and want the pre-packaged items. I would have been OK with the cereal and granola bar, but no milk. Apparently, we weren't the first people that asked about milk. (Isn't there a staff member who can run out and get a half-gallon?) Didn't see any cereal sitting out this morning, so assuming still no milk. No fresh fruit like bananas. They do have packaged fruit, packaged waffle, packaged muffins, orange juice, yogurt. Like someone else said, lady with gray/blond hair was nice.
I would stay there again for a night or two, but not at $118, and I'd want milk. Also, please change the blanket. Next time, I won't let my husband make the reservation. I'll shop around first.

The Days Inn had some great amenities, and hopefully after the covid issue, they will return. The rooms are older and are being updated. You can tell that some care is going back into the place but there are parts still in need of repair. The biggest advantage is that they are not charging an arm and a leg to stay here. the rates are very reasonable compared to some of the other Hotels here in Kirksville.

It was a nice place to stay, rooms were clean and quiet. There is activities downstairs for you to do such as video games, pool tables and a swimming pool. The only downside was there was no cell phone service and we couldn’t get connected to WiFi but sometimes it’s a nice break to step away from those things.

Stayed over the weekend that Truman State was graduating. I assume this event was the reason for the increased price. The first thing I noticed was the hotel is under staffed. There was one person working the front desk as well as taking care of the breakfast bar. A fellow guest took the initiative to make additional coffee when it ran out. The room was dated. The night stands were faded and scratched. The blinds on the window did not fully cover the window which allowed the parking lot lights to leak into the room. I had to use a blanket to keep the light out and make the room dark enough to sleep comfortably. The room was in need of the paint being touched up. The were a number of scuffs and cracks visible. While sitting on the sofa I found a spoon and piece of cereal between the arm and the cushion, In regards to amenities, there is an indoor pool, arcade games, a bar which is located in a large lobby area. The employee at the front desk advised the bar is operated by an employee who is also a housekeeper and would not be open the evening I stayed because the employee was tired. Overall the hotel was a place to stay and the staff did the best they could for their guest. However, in my opinion it was not worth the price.

While it appears from the lobby that this was once a really nice property, it definitely is not any more. The beds were ancient and hard and pokey. The "popcorn" ceiling in our room was falling down because of an apparent water leak. The carpet was so dirty that I refused to walk on it without my flipflops. Also there was no fridge or microwave although there was clearly space for them. There was no table/desk to work at either, just a high console type thing about a foot wide. I am a Diamond Rewards member and used my points for this room and I was EXTREMELY disappointed as they were in the higher tier for points cost which is outrageous for a place like this. The pool is closed and no hot breakfast - not their fault, thank you COVID19. They did at least provide a sack breakfast. Also, after charging an outrageous amount of points, they tried to charge a $25 surcharge on checking out because we used points. Oh, and no, they did not provide ANY kind of Diamond welcome amenity. Just stay away until hopefI lly they remodel and get trained in how to handle a Wyndham hotel.

On Friday night 2/11/22, I was laying in my room on my bed when I heard my door open. I said hello, and I was greeted with a male voice saying hello, maintenance man after he was already in my room. I said what do you want? He said I’m here to fix your TV, which at that point I didn’t even know was a problem. He continued to let himself on in my room, started working on the TV while I was still laying on the bed. All of a sudden someone knocks on the door, and he goes and lets another Maintenance Man in my room uninvited.Acted Like I’m not even there. I was on the phone as one of them sits on my bed, and starts trying to program a different TV. I let them know last night at the front desk, and this morning when I checked out. I’ve been waiting on a phone call from the manager which still hasn’t happened six hours later. I just called and reported it to Windham rewards, so we’ll see if anything happens or not. Made me feel very uncomfortable. I ended up switching rooms which the maintenance man provided, Taking me to several rooms that weren’t even clean, he finally found one that was clean, which smelled of smoke and it’s supposed to be a non-smoking room. Not a good visit at all. I would not recommend this place for anything.

I reserved 2 king rooms. The reservation was found and the 1st room assigned with no issues. Then when the desk clerk went to do the 2nd room she stated that the reservation was gone and then they didn't have any more king rooms available. We settled for a queen room however it was a smoking room that smelled. When she billed me she billed me a higher price than the reservation was for and said I would need to take it up with the day shift. If you want to eat dont plan on having breakfast here. it was extremely lacking in options and taste.

Having the opportunity to travel travel often this was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at.. Besides the room being smoke smelling, unclean and noisy, the staff was unhelpful. There was no hot water for the instant oatmeal that passed as hot breakfast, bagels as hard as I've seen. They do have juice, cereal/ milk at least.

My business king room had only 2 miniscule and flat pillows and no extras to get from the front desk. There was little to no high speed connectivity and was spotty for cover. The upgraded business room had a tiny desk an chair that could only have my laptop on it and NO power available. The room has a single wall outlet and one on the table lamp that works. The toilet wobbled and didn't flush properly. There was a bonus ball of hair in the tub drain that at first look I mistook as a large cockroach. Cleaning is not a priority which makes me somewhat relieved that the breakfast was mostly pre packed.

I have had good experiences in the past with other Wyndham properties but this one left me fully un impressed.

The bath towels that were haning up in the room had large yellow and brown stains on them. I told the front desk, and they didn't do anythig about it. Said she would send a picture to her manager of the towels. but that was it. Said she couldn't even give me a partial refund because I made a reservaition online using the hotel website.

When I first checked-in, I waited over 15 min for someone to arrive at the front desk. Someone who worked at the hotel walked by and said that the guy at the front desk had to go upstairs, but didn't seem to care. There was a sign at the desk to call a phone number if you needed help, but no one answered and it just rang the phone at the desk. When the guy did arrive to check me in, I was like an inconvenience to him. Most all of the lights in the main lobby were off. The hallway to my room smelled like weed. It reminded me of the Bates Hotel from Psycho.

The room was as clean as a port-a-potty or bus station bathroom. The room had furniture and bedding in it from the 1980's. And of course, none of the employees really cared or tried to make my stay enjoyable. I paid $90 a night ffor this? Next time, I would rather sleep in my car or gutter.

This location caters to individuals who want an extended stay opportunity. Weekly/ monthly rates.

Either the Days Inn brand has gone down hill or this location is not satisfactory.

One night and without the family. I’ve stayed at worse.

Choose a different place that is a normal hotel experience. Avoid this location.

This is a continental breakfast only. However, they do have the Belgian waffle maker. They also have a hot breakfasts buffet that you can get for $4.99 with eggs and meat, etc. We did not choose to have any breakfast that trip. I only noticed what was there because I was looking for decaf coffee.
