I would stay there again for a night or two, but not at $118, and I'd want milk. Also, please change the blanket. Next time, I won't let my husband make the reservation. I'll shop around first.
My business king room had only 2 miniscule and flat pillows and no extras to get from the front desk. There was little to no high speed connectivity and was spotty for cover. The upgraded business room had a tiny desk an chair that could only have my laptop on it and NO power available. The room has a single wall outlet and one on the table lamp that works. The toilet wobbled and didn't flush properly. There was a bonus ball of hair in the tub drain that at first look I mistook as a large cockroach. Cleaning is not a priority which makes me somewhat relieved that the breakfast was mostly pre packed.
I have had good experiences in the past with other Wyndham properties but this one left me fully un impressed.
When I first checked-in, I waited over 15 min for someone to arrive at the front desk. Someone who worked at the hotel walked by and said that the guy at the front desk had to go upstairs, but didn't seem to care. There was a sign at the desk to call a phone number if you needed help, but no one answered and it just rang the phone at the desk. When the guy did arrive to check me in, I was like an inconvenience to him. Most all of the lights in the main lobby were off. The hallway to my room smelled like weed. It reminded me of the Bates Hotel from Psycho.
The room was as clean as a port-a-potty or bus station bathroom. The room had furniture and bedding in it from the 1980's. And of course, none of the employees really cared or tried to make my stay enjoyable. I paid $90 a night ffor this? Next time, I would rather sleep in my car or gutter.
Either the Days Inn brand has gone down hill or this location is not satisfactory.
One night and without the family. I’ve stayed at worse.
