Detailed Reviews
I was in Kirksville for 1 night on business, and stayed at the Comfort Inn. I was able to check-in a little bit early and my room was all ready. The room was very clean and well kept. The bed was very comfortable (king size with 5 pillows) and the decor was typical hotel chain, but nice. The hotel was very quiet (although it was mid-week) and the front desk was manned all night. The only complaint at all was that my room was right across the hall from the ice machine, which did quickly become annoying. There were several places to eat within walking distance, and there was a Super Wal-Mart right across the road. This was overall a very positive experience for me and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Decent place, front desk staff was very helpful. Morning breakfast was good. Had a small hot tub area for relaxing. Getting into parking lot was a bit scary, it's located right at an intersection. Rooms were clean and starting to show a bit of age, the a/c worked well, beds were comfortable. Wished for an elevator, but as usual I did over pack.

Have stayed here several times for family events and found it to be acceptably clean with exceptionally nice staff. Breakfast the usual, with enough choices. No elevator, ask for first floor of you cannot walk up two flights with luggage. Refrigerator came in handy. Located in commercial strip across from Walmart

Closet door fell down just wasn’t worth the money the only way you get service is if you called and asked for it and you still may not get it awful as well I advise not to go there. I was there working and it wasn’t comfortable. Spooky. They would leave the side door propped open and all. Will never stay there again.
Bugs bit everybody in the room up my granddaughter was bitten so many times all on her legs and side. We just left and went to the Hampton where we got housekeeping daily very clean rooms good hospitality worth the money and the quality inn prices are the same as the Hampton these people getting over on these dirty rooms not up to date but charging high prices.

Waiting for issue to be taken care of. Booked adjoining rooms, was assigned adjoining room with the wrong people. We corrected the issue and Judy from the front desk was very kind as always. One room had a very serious leak in the bathroom , making that bathroom unsafe to use due to water in the floor and getting wet when using the toilet. Thankfully we could use the friends adjoining bathroom for the weekend as the hotel was full. We are requesting charges for the room to be deducted from credit card. Judy is trying to help, however seems as if the manager is not doing his part. Quality Inn says they have expectations of good service, however at this point , we have not received good customer service from the manager. Still hoping it will be resolved so we feel good about booking a room next year.

I booked this room in May for an October stay as it was Truman's Family Weekend. Some of the newer & nicer hotels were already booked. When we arrived to check in, I was told our room number on first floor and I told them I had asked for a room on the highest floor (2nd floor and no elevator). They told me I had booked an accessible room so that was first floor but they would try to change it for me. I thought that would be the end of my troubles. The stairway to the second floor was dirty but I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt and hoped the room was better. We opened the door and there was no bedding at all on the beds, there looked to be drywall chips on the bathroom floor and a tarp under the bathroom sink. So I walked back downstairs to tell them we weren't staying in that room. They gave me a second room to try. We went to that room and looked around and there were crumbs and debris on the floor, the ceiling looked liked there was a water/roof leak, there was mold in the tub, hairs in the tub, the shower head and drain were disgusting. Then it looked like blood or something near the toilet. I about lost it. After talking to my daughter and her boyfriend, we decided we couldn't stay there. I went down to the desk and asked them to cancel my reservation and give me a receipt with a zero balance. They asked what was wrong and I told them nicely. They quickly refunded me. Luckily, we live only an hour and a half away but we still are missing out on my daughters FIRST Family Weekend at college! This absolutely ruined the weekend we had planned.

Will NOT ever book reservations again at this motel.
Terrible customer service regarding the process of reserving a room.
I do not recommend this motel. The company handling the reservation process
is not concerned about customer satisfaction AT ALL!

We had two rooms reserved . At time of check in the computers were down. We were assigned rooms 104 and 106. At 9 pm the desk called asking our names. At 1130 pm someone used room key and attempted to enter our room. At 1am someone pounded on our door. At 105am the desk called again asking who was in the room. The next morning we asked to speak to the manager and was told he was not available. We left our cell phone number for him to call he as not bothered to return the call. Plus after all this our bill was incorrect and working with the credit card company to fix that .

We were in town for Truman State's Homecoming. There were problems when we stayed at this hotel for Parent's weekend (blood on the sheets, and room key that didn't work), but I chalked it up to a fluke since it had been fine in the summer when we stayed for a night. This time, when we checked in after our long drive I went straight to the bathroom...where I found a bug crawling on the floor amongst lots of hairs. YUCK! I cleaned the bathroom myself but didn't sleep well wondering about any more bugs that may be crawling around. That night when we came back to the hotel, one room key didn't work. The next morning after looking to see what was edible at breakfast, we tried to return to the room but neither room key worked. Upon going back down to the breakfast/front desk area, the employee (younger male) seemed very put out that he had to stop reading his book to walk up and let me in the room. He told me that it was an ongoing problem that the owners refused to fix. I told him that I would be needing to get in again after taking a load to the car to get the rest of my things. He said that he couldn't help. I asked to speak to a manager in regards to the room being unclean and not being able to get in and out without asking him to let me in and he told me that I would be hearing from Pamela...it's over a week later and I still haven't heard anything. My real concern is what is to stop someone from having the front desk attendant let them into anyone's room. They don't even check id's or anything! I was told by the night clerk in September that they knew about the issue with the keys but the owners refused to do anything to fix the problem. Not a great feeling to hear two different employees complaining about the owners to the guests.
We will not be staying here again...thanks to two new hotels being built in town.

So they are in the process of changing to the quality inn. It's not the nicest hotel, but its not a bad place go stay. It's quiet, free breakfast, and clean. It is a little bit run down but not a bad place to stay. I would not say no to staying here again.

On their web site an indoor pool is listed, which I saw, but not a hot tub and I don't recall seeing one.
