We have been to this resort many times and it is always the same. Great customer service, employees who go out of their way to help you, clean, and all you need for a week stay. We stayed in a 2 bdrm. The living room has plenty of seating, storage galore, a tv, dvd player, and a fireplace (I think...

Very nice, clean, and comfortable place. Awesome, helpful staff with a great view and location. Perfect for us to travel to different destinations on our motorcycles, in different directions, to see the scenery, and challenge our skills on the roads.

Just 3 hours from Kansas City, this Lakewood Resort is the place to come. Great views from each room, rooms are equipped with everything you need for your stay. The lake is right out your front door and this resort is super close to all the stores and outlet shops!

My husband and I stayed at this resort with an RCI exchange, using points from our Bluegreen ownership. We were at the Lake, in January, for a nearby convention that I was attending. This was the only resort in the RCI exchange program that would allow us to make a reservation for less than a full week. NOTE: there was...

My husband my 6 yr and I recently spent a fun week @ Lakewood Resort. Our two bedroom, two bathroom waterfront condo was very clean and specious. It was nicely decorated too and had everything that we needed including an electric fireplace and huge balcony. The employees were friendly and helpful, especially Rusty - he's a definite asset to Lakewood...

Overall the place was really nice. The members that checked us in were super, and even got us in early. There was secure internet in our room (and I'm assuming all rooms) and the place was really clean at check-in. We had a 2BR/, 2Bath Condo. The deck overseeing the lake was really nice, as was the "electric" fireplace with...

I cannot recommend a place more than Lakewood. You feel like you are at home the whole time you are there. The boating hours you get as an owner is the best. Not only are there great amenities, the staff is also excellent. Enjoyable vacation for all ages. Lots to do in the area for all ages and budgets.

My family of 4 was also part of the family vacation of 47 people the previous reviewer mentioned. After reading her review there isnt much I can add. I did have a bit of trouble getting comfortable in our bed in unit 204. Our bed seemed to be a bit more broken in on both sides but quite firm and...

My bf and I stayed here for a family vacation - as in 47 people descending upon Osage Beach for a week. Some of the families stayed at other resorts so I have some comparison. If your goal is to be at the lake and enjoy boating, jet ski, etc., then Lakewood is a great option. The complex is literally...

We really enjoy bringing our boat here in the summer. The docks are nice and have really large lockers. The facility is small and there isn't a bad room or location. We have always found it to be clean and the people friendly. It has a nice pool and deck area to lounge as well. It is directly off of...

“All rooms have a deck water side. The 200 and 300 buildings are centrally located but nothing at the resort is very far away.”

“Ask for a room in a middle floor so you can avoid going up and down lots of steps.”

“We enjoyed the top floor. All rooms face the highway overpass. You can hear the highway traffic from the rooms. We were in 201, and it was centrally located on the property.”

“It was built on the lakefront. From the parking lot it is conviently close to the condo entrance. It could never be ADA approved with today's codes, since the 4 stories all have stairs. Either 1 1/2 stories up or down, at least in section 8 which is closest to the pool and boat dock where we stayed. Not a hard walk, but not if anyone in your party has trouble climbing stairs.”
