I first stayed at the Stonecrest Motel in 1959. Sometime this or last year, the facility was redone - and quite nicely. Beds were comfy and everything clean and tidy. The rooms are all first floor with parking spots aimed at the building, so get ready for headlights in your window if the blinds are not closed. If you close the blinds, then get ready for sleeping in a cave like setting. The rooms could also use some tissues and alarm clocks. Other than that - no complaints. All in all, a pleasant and secure stay in Piedmont.

As one who has stayed at the Stonecrest before the new wing and remodeling, I was very pleasantly surprised. Our room was large and comfortable. It was very clean and didn't have the odor you often find in small town motels. It wasn't perfect but we would definitely stay there again. The three star rating is intended to show that it does a very good job at what it does but that it's not up to the standards that a traveler in a larger market would expect.

The room was small but cozy. The staff was friendly. We went to the lake so we did not use the pool. It is conveniently located and for such a small town I feel the price of the room was excellent. They accomodated everyone in our party including smokers. That is rare in motels these days.

As the fair season is approaching, I thought I should write this review. My sister and I were on our way to her daughter's house when we hit a deer. Luckily the car was still drivable, and we were able to get to Piedmont. It was a Friday night and everything was already closed, so we decided to stay overnight. When we told the ladies who ran this place what happened, they could not have been nicer. They asked what they could do to help and gave us suggestions as to the best places to take the car to have it looked at. They checked on us the next morning to see what we needed. Since it was the weekend and the shops were closed, we asked if we could keep the car on their property until Monday morning while we arranged for my niece to pick us up. These ladies were very accommodating. The motel itself is adequate and has pretty much everything you need for a decent night's sleep, so the 5 stars are more for the women who ran the place. I think one of them is Misty. If they are still the ones in charge, I would not hesitate to go back when the fairs are going on. They treated us like family!

We had an awful experience at stonecrest. The owner(female) was very rude and every time i seen her she was very snotty although the owner(male) was very pleasant. The first room we got was a very small room with a full size bed. Very nasty as though they hadnt cleaned it. Mold was growing on the bathroon and there was hair on the sink.(not mine). While giving my kids a shower the shower hot/cold knob came off and scalded one of my children. (very unsafe). The owner(female) also came to our room after we had switched rooms and informed us that our children had got chips on the sheets and now they had to special treat them and to watch and make sure this doesnt happen again. VERY RUDE!!

We were staying there for a funeral. They were very accomodating and went out of their way to make sure that our stay was pleasant. If you are traveling anywhere near Piedmont MO I would highly reccomend this business.

Staff was very friendly and helpful; informative about the area and willing to go out of their way. Room was exceptionally clean and cozy-had a fridge but no microwave. Bathroom was set up well, tho water took a while to warm. Pool was very nice, a little cool since it was early in the season, but we enjoyed it very much! We had no trouble with Wifi. Overall, our stay there was great, and we will be back again-hopefully soon! Our thanks to the GREAT staff!!!

Literally ran by people who do drugs and to much drug traffic in and out! Terrible management! I would drive to poplar bluff first and find a hotel there! The place isn’t the greatest! And I wouldn’t waste your money here!
