My family and I stayed at Spring Valley last weekend in one of their tent spots. Initially we were hesitant because we were told the tent spots were on a field near a creek (thinking wet, muddy etc especially with all the rain we've had recently). But it was such a great spot! The tent camping was great, the hook-up spots looked good too, the bathrooms were super clean and the owners went above and beyond for us (we called 2-3 times to double check things and they were so kind). The price was VERY reasonable and Clearwater lake nearby was great for fishing. We'll definitely be back! Thanks!

My SO and I, along with a 2 yr old and 2 month old, just stayed at Spring Valley and we enjoyed everything about it! The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating from the time I made the reservation (extremely last minute) to the time we left the resort. The cabin was very clean and cozy, with plenty of room for my 2 yr old to play. It was very well stocked with all essentials and every appliance was clean and ready to be used. The owners were there throughout the day and late into the evening working nonstop maintaining the grounds and making sure every customer was taken care of. I made a couple of trips to the office for miscellaneous reasons (my cabin was right next to the office so I chose the walk instead of calling) and Barb was always there and quickly and efficiently helped with whatever I needed. We didn't use the pool, but it looked extremely clean and my son absolutely loved the play area next to it. I could not be more pleased with our stay and how well we were treated by the owners. They are great people and Spring Valley is a great resort. We will definitely be back!…

We stayed at Spring Valley Resort this weekend. We are frequent visitors to Piedmont and this was our 3rd stay this summer at Spring Valley. We checked in around 5pm and got to our cabin and started settling in. Around 8pm, we noticed that the window in the back door was shattered. There was a small hole in the window also. We decided to make sure the door was locked (the sign posted next to the door said to keep it locked). It was not locked. I tried to lock it and it would not lock at all. I stayed in this cabin in June as well and the door did not lock then either. When I opened and closed the door, a basketball size section of glass fell out. I tried to call the front office and the phone in our cabin did not work. It also did not work in June. So I went to the office and there was no one there. I drove to the dam to get cell service and no one answered the office phone. Left a message. So we went back to the cabin and luckily I had some tape with me so I taped up the hole. When we woke the next morning, we discovered the ants. Ants all over the kitchen and ants in one of the beds! We stopped by the front office at 10am and it was locked. No one there. We drove to the dam once again for cell service and called. No answer. Left a message. Stopped back by the office after breakfast at around 10:45 and still locked, no one there. We headed to the lake and came back around 5pm. Tried the office, locked and no one there. No one from Spring Valley resort contacted us all weekend. We had ants everywhere, no phone and a broken door that could not be locked. We left the cabin this morning around 8:30am and there has still (as of 12 noon Sunday 8/25) been NO CONTACT with the owners of Spring Valley Resort. If this is how the new owners of Spring Valley (also the owners of Sunset Point) run their resort, I don’t want to do business with them and I will tell everyone not to stay there!…

Only reason why I'm giving it 2 starts is because while we were there the accommodations were acceptable. Outdated, but suited our family(wife and 2 children) fine. The issue with the establishment is that they charge one price online saying children were one rate, then upon getting there the lady notified us that the website is outdated and that the new owners wouldn't honor it, so after paying substantially more than was advertised, we brushed it off and enjoyed our stay with our family. 3 weeks later we recieved a call from the attendant working there stating there was a cushion from a couch missing and that it was unusable and telling us to pay for a new one, after accusing us of stealing a cushion. They also continued to tell us they contacted their sherriff department about it and reported a theft. After telling them to check their cameras to exonerate us from the accusations, they stated they didnt have any to speak of. We told them to ask housekeeping and she began to I sultry us saying they weren't in a position to steal cushions for themselves, but we are. After we stayed we said we would come back, but what it seems to me is the "resort" does not have the clientele to keep it going, and this and overcharging and blaming it on old websites and new owners is a way to compensate for their failing location. We wouldn't recommend d dealing with these pretty crooks in anyway shape or form, there are plenty of respectable places surrounding spring valleys establishment that would be cheaper and much more pleasant that Spring Valley itself. Hope this helps people avoid a costly and stressful ordeal and what seems like a bait and switch as far as not honoring advertised prices.…

Stayed two weekends ago. Resort was clean and owners were very accommodating. Not to crowded close to the lake. Needed a place to relax and get away, this definitely fit the bill. Will definitely return and recommend to friends.

Spent this last weekend at the cabins. They were very clean, had everything we needed for cooking, bed was comfortable, the pool was absolutely stunning. It poured all weekend but we managed to prop an umbrella up over the bbq pit and grill some fantastic steaks! Due to the weather the owners allowed us to register the friends we were planning on boating with so they could come over for dinner. Which def made our day MUCH better! Steve stopped by and visited on our way out and ask us if we enjoyed our stay :) We were in Cabin 15 and it overlooked a cute little stream :) Overall it was a fantastic place to stay!

We come here at least once every year. Steve & Marcia are great! The pool is always clean & very inviting. Accommodations are excellent. It's very peaceful & quiet. We prefer to stay in the trailers when they are open for the season since they fit the needs of my family best, but we also have stayed in the big cabin next to the office & it's awesome too. Although we miss the tub & washer/dryers in the trailers. There is plenty of open space to play games. We also love the private picnic tables, BBQ pits & fire pits. I would recommend.

Our cabin was 13. Our view from the back porch was the lake where u can fish. The cabin was equipped with pots,pans,refrigerator, stove, microwave ac heat, cable tv, and free wifi. The rooms were spaced perfectly apart from each other for privacy.

Very clean and owners are very accommodating. We stay here every year with our family of 20-30 people! The grounds and pool are well maintained and very reasonably priced! Would recommend highly to bring your group!

All together we had 40 people in our group,challenging for any owners of a property! The owners of Spring Valley Resort not only welcomed us into their family owned property, but took care of us like we were family. The resort is beautiful, as clean as can be, and so easy to check in and out. The pool they have is wonderful to come back to after a day on the lake, which is conveniently located a mile away. Don't worry of you have big boats, as we had plenty, you'll have plenty of room to park!! I could go on and on about Spring Valley, give em a call, book a vacation, you will not be sorry!
