This is a new property with great access to the interstate, and a brand new gas station/convenience store adjacent. This was our first night out on a 35 day road trip. We found everyone we dealt with here to be friendly and helpful. I don't know if they've continued this, but the night we were there we got free hot/chili dogs, nachos and beer! With their free breakfast in the morning, and a great, comfortable room - it set the hospitality tone for the rest of our trip

Really great hotel to stay at . I was greeted by Jason he helped me with questions i had and was very professional , The room was beautiful and comfortable , clean and quiet which made the visit even better .. I even stayed an extra night i didnt want to leave ~ The price was good and so worth it . If im ever in the area i would stay again for sure. Thanks so much everyone at Fairfield Inn at Poplar Bluffs Mo.

We only stopped in the area to sleep on our way from Chicago to Arkansas. Unfortunately we barely slept so the cost of stop was a complete waste. We were on the first floor, next to the ice machine and lobby. Our window faced the highway and parking lot. Walls are thin and we could hear multiple tvs from other rooms. We arrived late and immediately got into bed. Bed was worn out with very little support and flat pillows. We were so tired and it was so late we just tried to fall asleep. We were jolted awake at 3am to loud noises of metal banging outside. It’s sounded like garbage trucks and dumpsters. But this continued for hours. We finally got up at 7am and left. A costly 6 hours of torture.

Everything was perfect, no complaints at all. Check in and check out was fast and friendly. Room was very clean and comfy, TV and HVAC worked great. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection of quality items.

This was a nice stop over. The hotel was pretty clean. Beds were comfortable. The weight room was enjoyable to use. Pool was warm at 83 degrees. Breakfast buffet was good eggs and had many choices. If one complaint I would say check the little in room refrigerator is working after a couple hours since it shut off. Other than that it was all good.

The staff was as good as it gets, hotel lobby and room was clean, even the carpet which I usually find dirty and a lot of hotels, but not here. They had a great unadvertised managers reception, with food and beverages and all was first class. This will be our go to place in Poplar Bluff when we pass through. We could hear some road noise, but it was to be expected because our room was on the interstate side.

Our third stay at this Fairfield and each time the property improves. Last night was our last stay of a two week trip FIRST night at a Marriott property that we had two hand towels and a full set of towels! Helpful friendly staff. If possible stay on side facing towards hospital no highway noise.

Although my stay was great this review is mainly about the shady manager Tammy! I left a shaving kit there and told them to hold as i thought id be back again at that location. a couple weeks later i had called back letting them know i wouldn’t make it back there . The front desk clerk said she would let Tammy know and it would be sent . She also said she had saw it on Tammy’s desk so i waited 3 weeks and never received it. When i called back and finally talk to Tammy she said we only keep things 30 days and threw it away. So not only am i out a 100$ trimmer bet the absolute run around i got was ridiculous.. No offer of points or anything.. I more than likely will never step foot on that property as ling as she is running it !

Dear PhilC24, I am very sorry sir to hear you are so upset with me personally. As discussed on the call, when you stayed with us in January and left your shaving kit, it was found and held for you. We never received any more information on proceeding forward with a return, so by May when you called it had been discarded. I do apologize if there was a mix up with the communication. I am not sure what run around you are referring to. I am certain I spoke to you personally, in January, when you asked us to hold a few days for your return visit which never happened. I do appreciate that you experienced a loss when you forgot your item. It must have been very frustrating to realize it was gone. I appreciate you and hope you return at a later date. There was no malice intended. 5 months is a long time to wait to inquire about a lost item in the hotel. We want to always give our guests the best stay possible. Agent Bobbi at front desk was very nice and accommodating. Nice to be greated by a friendly agent. This is a new hotel. In a great location right off the highway. Little noisy if you need to sleep. by the gas station and highway.

The Fairfield in Poplar Bluff is a wonderful stay.. Julie and the front desk staff go above and beyond to make your stay away from home feel like home… i was greeted for my stay politely and professionally, Grounds are spotless, rooms very clean , weight room sanitized .. Breakfast was very good .. I don’t usually post pictures in my reviews and less my stay is unsatisfactory this property is immaculate and I highly recommend…
