This weekend stay was a gift from our daughter and we can say she truly outdid herself. Richard & Myrta are beautiful, well traveled hosts that made their home ours! The desserts Myrta made for high tea were amazing and Richard's breakfasts were awesome! We have already made arrangements to go back for Maifest 2011!! Thank you so much Richard...

This lovely B&B is set in the rolling hills outside of Herman. It was so pleasant in Apr to just sit outside and enjoy the surroundings. Loved hearing and seeing all the birds and viewing the gardens. Though the large garden of lavenders were not blooming yet, I can only imagine how wonderful they would look and smell. Our host...

I thought we were going to a sleepy small town outside Herman Mo. Off the rat race of the city we found paradise in the hills of Missouri. It is green lush full of gardens, hills and hiking for people who want to stay active. After we got to the B&B we had what Myrta called High -Tea she has pastries out...

Recently visited Les Lavandes with a group of ten flying friends. We had such a wonderful time due in no small part to our hosts, Myrta and Richard. It was a memorable weekend, with a wonderful afternoon tea on arrival and a cheese fondue that evening. There is a beautiful shrine nearby that must not be missed ,as well as...

First of all, this Bed and Breakfast has one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen. It overlooks rolling hills in every direction with a georgeous shrine across the street that lends to the sacred hush that you feel in the air. When we drove up, Myrta and Richard Weber were there to meet us with an offer...

My fiance and I stayed at Les Lavandes for a relaxing getaway weekend. We absolutely loved it!. The setting is amazing, looking out over rolling fields and a beautiful garden. It's about 10 minutes outside of Hermann so you avoid the noise of trains rolling through and loud wine-tasting crowds. We had the most delicious afternoon tea with homemade pastries,...

Having just returned from our 7th stay at Les Lavandes B&B, my husband and I look forward to our next visit. We’ve stayed in the winter, spring, summer, and fall and every time it’s special. Richard and Myrta are “Hosts Extraordinaire”. Richard’s breakfasts are delicious, plentiful and complete with freshly brewed coffee. Myrta makes the best chocolates and pastries which...
