We stayed one night so as to attend a concert at Enterprise Center. The room itself was clean and modern. No complaints. For us, what set the hotel apart from others was the staff. From the man who valet-parked our car to the front desk staff, everyone was genuinely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the hotel and surrounding area.
We live 5 hours from STL and have never stayed at this hotel let alone knew what an experience our stay here would be. First off it is in the old Union Station which used to see 100,000 people through the station every day in the 1940's. They have kept and restored all the most spectacular parts of thus hotel from the ornate and detailed art in the massive lobby to the old elevator and all the angles of the lobby, The lobby bar is wonderful and the light show inside the lobby every evening is a show worth watching! the outdoor area behind the pool is the old Union STation with a private entrance to the Aquarium and the ferris wheel and carousel. IT is fun for the entire family and the light and fire show on the water every night is another brilliant show. SO worth the money and a great family trip!…
I stayed here on a business trip. The building itself is beautiful, and the main lobby is spectacular. Check in was fairly quick and painless and the front desk staff were polite and helpful. My room was a two bed queen room which was underwhelming. The room itself was very dark. The air filter for the room's climate system was caked in dust. I thought in Covid that stuff was all supposed to be cleaned routinely? The beds were sunken in and deformed, definitely time for new mattresses. The shower head was pretty low, maybe better for a shorter person. What saved this stay was the banquet facilities for my business meetings. All of the food was really good for a hotel. Service was excellent, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant also had a decent breakfast buffet and I thought the price for that was reasonable. The rooms need some updating, but the facility itself is nice.…
We had no idea what to expect when we booked this hotel for a wedding! We were so pleasantly surprised! Everyone was so very nice and the hotel itself had such character! The light show at night in the lobby was amazing, especially the Beatles show! Highly recommend this hotel for fun and good times!
The old union station part of the hotel is absolutely beautiful. The rooms on the other hand are standard business class rooms. More importantly though the hotel portion is dark and not well cleaned. My room was equally dark and not very clean. Had booked 2 nights but only stayed 1 after waking up to a roach, see pic, on my nightstand! As the saying goes, if there’s 1 there’s many more!! Clearly not acceptable.
