We stayed in this B&B several years ago and to my surprise how it is run down. It was sad to see how the condition of the place overall inside and out. A little paint and attention is much needed. I tripped twice on the carpet that needs to be stretched in both the room and outside hallway. Our room...

This is a great spot. While the rooms are fairly modern and don't have a historic feel, the location can't be beat. The rooms are clean and spacious. The highlight of this place is the breakfast. Come hungry because they serve a lot of food. It's delicious!

We stayed one night at Dr. Hertich's House while touring the houses and learning the French colonial history of St. Genevieve. Dr. Hertich's is part of the Inn St. Gemme Beauvais (ISGB) enterprise and that was probably the best part for us. We loved the 5PM wine and cheese in the garden of the ISGB and the breakfast the next...

My fiancé and I stayed here for one night. We reserved the suite called Love Notes. It had a Jacuzzi tub and a fireplace. The room with tax was $225.00. For that amount, I expected to be wowed. The bathroom had ants crawling around the window near the Jacuzzi and the sheets on the bed were stained. We also observed...

We frequently stay in B+Bs, each has its own character...our stay in H4/LoveNotes was another lovely set of memories. As the house is old, it has its quirks but that adds to the charm and authenticity, however, the amenities help to bring comfort. The couple's tub was just what the doctored ordered. However, the Breakfasts...WOW...The Breakfast were the Perfect start...

The food in this B and B is delicious and set in a beautiful room. The rooms are large, clean and the beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms have nice newish flooring. The overall appearance of the place though needs freshening. The wallpaper, carpet and curtains haven't looked touched in 15 years. It's in dire need of paint but it...

My wife and I have stayed at another B&B the previous year and decided to try a new one out. We were extremely happy with the overall service and accommodations. the location was great being in the middle of downtown St. Genevieve, and the room we stayed in offered breakfast delivered to your room which was an added bonus. The...

We had an over all great stay. The building is from the 1850's so it's going to have a few quirks but a new paint job and updated decor is needed. However, the two person hot tub was a delightful modern convenience. It had a glow light, waterfall feature and shower head spray attachment. There was a small sitting room...

We stayed two nights for our anniversary in the Memories Suite. Breakfast was brought to our room in the morning. It was wonderful. There was a two person jetted tub. They had a wine hour at 5pm. Easy to walk around town and restaurants. The only criticism is the TV was too small. Overall really enjoyed our stay.

This was my first B&B experience and it was excellent! I LOVE this place. Absolutely gorgeous with amazing food. My one and only complaint is that my back did not like the hard mattress. Not necessarily a bad thing for everyone. I realize some people do fine with firm mattresses, just not me. I love EVERYTHING else about this place!

“I would recommend choosing a room on the first floor as there wasn't an elevator and you would have to climb the stairs to the second floor while carrying your luggage.”
