We went here after being on the road for 10.5 hours and needed a cheap quick place to rest before heading on the road again and I went in asked the price and she told me $55.00 plus $ 20.00 for a deposit (get the deposit back) so I said okay I will pay for the room on my card and cash deposit. So we get to our room and the air conditioner does not work so we go back to the front and I guess the manager followed us back to the room told us to have in on low and wait 30 min because it will not work on high well my boyfriend wasn't happy at all so he went and demanded another room. We got another room alright...right in the front where the noise (not their fault of course) is so loud you can barely hear yourself think but I will say the room was decent and the air worked as well as the shower (hot water, etc) and all appliances worked too. Here is the kicker when I checked my bank account she charged me $68 for the room that was no different than the one we just left for the air conditioner not working!!! I will never stay at that hotel again and also know that nothing was working there as far as ice maker or machines. It was a mistake stopping there and we should have just continued on for another hour to Joplin.

We had late arrival or would have left! Room smelled like horrific mold! Bed was HARD and you could feel the coils. 3 pillows wouldn't equal 1 standard pillow! The threadbare towel I used had brown makeup smeared on it, leaving me thinking it hadn't even been washed to begin with! We originally were going to stay 2 nights but when we tried to leave the next morning or switch rooms they refused to help out at all! The staff was completely rude staff and "owner" was even worse! Dirty, stinky, and it seemed like it was in a bad part of town. NEVER NEVER NEVER STAY HERE!!!

This place evidently has a reoccurring problem with homeless sneaking in and sleeping in the hallway. Not to mention the water leaking in from the roof into the room. From patch plaster everywhere on the ceiling this is not a new problem. Had to wake the night manager for the breakfast. That’s when she noticed the homeless guy. RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!!

The hotel lost our reservation. When we finally got that straightened out we got two rooms that smelled one like puke and the other like mold horrible. And one room with a broken bed. Their were no pool towels and when we asked for them they sent two when we had 9 people swimming from the three rooms. All together the worst hotel that I have ever been too. And the price was outrageous for what we got.

Springfield Inn is a large hotel but appeared to be deserted, but then I was somewhat relieved when I saw several cars parked near one section of the hotel. Apparently, rooms were being assigned so guests are nearby for efficiency in operations.
The check-in and check-out were quick without any issues. The room I stayed in was clean, comfortable, and adequately equipped. All utilities were functioning properly. There was fridge or coffee maker. The complimentary breakfast was pretty simple, but alright for one day stay.
Location is convenient for visiting the major attractions in Springfield.

This place was a few blocks off the interstate and easy to find. It had all the necessities for a good nights stay. The bed was comfortable, the hvac worked well and the shower was good and hot. Like I said, it was good for the money.
