We have stayed here a few times since COVID broke out. We are very impressed with the effort the management and staff put forth to keep guests safe. Masks are required and all staff wear masks. There are gloves available as you enter. Pens and key are sanitized. Rooms are disinfected and sealed with plastic tape prior to guest use.
Some services such as the fitness center, are closed and the restaurant/bar is on reduced hours.
On our last visit, we had an issue with our room air conditioner on the second night. The manager called me the next day.

My family and I visited this establishment during the time my mother was placed in hospice until she passed away. We have never been treated so well. The rooms are extremely clean and spacious. The lobby was inviting and allowed our family to visit and have dinner with each other which was much appreciated. Penny was an absolute angel. She was understanding of our situation and went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. Bertha our room attendant did a phenomenal job on our rooms and made sure we had what we needed. I didn't catch his name (sorry) but the food and beverage manager working the night of the 19th was so attentive to our needs and your chef made the best philly cheesesteak I've had in a while. My entire family is very thankful for your staff's patience and kindness during this difficult time. We will definitely be staying here for future trips back home. We hope you all stay safe and healthy during this pandemic.

My wife and I recently chose the Hilton Garden to stay for a 7 night stay. First let me say that I am a Diamond member because I stay at a lot of Hilton properties all over the US and usually am very happy with this hotel chain. However this Springfield Hilton Garden added a lot of, (first time this ever happened to me) points and I felt I should at least warn future travelers is they choose to stay at this hotel they do so at their own peril. Let me begin, when I checked in to this hotel which was at the most 30% capacity I asked if an upgrade was possible which unless the hotel is sold out my Diamond status almost always gets me. The clerk that checked me in while very friendly informed me that as I was staying for an extended stay that his manager would not let him upgrade any guest for more than two days. This should have been my warning sign that this hotel ownership was in financial trouble and I should have canceled my reservation right then and there and went elsewhere but trusting in the Hilton chain I went ahead and checked in. Day number two or should I say night number two my wife and I went down to eat dinner to find out that the restaurant is only open 2 hours and is completely closed on Sundays. So we went elsewhere to dine that evening. Night 3 we had our granddaughters meet us there for dinner where 3 of us ordered cheeseburgers which all three were burned beyond being able to be eaten. When I brought it to our waiter’s attention his reply was sorry about that with no offer to refund the price of the burned burgers. Last but not least the rate we chose and paid for was the snack rate. 2/3rds of the snacks were outdated and when I took the outdated snacks to front desk to exchange for a snack that was fresh a lady told me they did not exchange but I could do whatever I wanted. I am guessing by now, (day 4) both of us were regretting my stay. I had just finished a 3 week, 7,000 mile driving trip across the US and stayed at other Hilton properties on the journey so I feel I am familiar with the Covid rules of the Hilton chain and this hotel did not measure up. I rarely say never but in this case I will never stay at this specific hotel again but still have faith in the Hilton chain but $1,250 stay to be treated so poorly by all but the cleaning crew which by the way were awesome was maddening. The guy that checked me in knew I was upset, the lady that got my outdated snacks knew I was upset, a gentlemen named Tyler texted me asking how my stay was going certainly knew I was upset, sorry Tyler, and not one call from the manager. The laundry machines were filthy and in need of cleaning. Please Hilton fix this location!

We stayed here about a month ago as a team for a volleyball tournament. I worked with Jennifer Bowler to work out our block of rooms and she did an amazing job. She responded to me literally within minutes of seeing my request and was that attentive through the entire process. On Saturday night if our stay the staff was very tolerant of our team bonding in the lobby😊. They are very close to tons of restaurants! I would highly recommend this hotel for team travel as well as staying there anytime.

My wife, daughter, and mother in law had the privilege of staying at this hotel because my daughter had a medical procedure at a nearby hospital the next day. From the keyless entry, to having a pack and play ready in their room before their arrival, to the excellent margaritas sent up to their room my family was absolutely floored. The room was spotless and well sanitized. My mom in law even texted me on her own that she was very impressed with her accommodations. All slept very well that night in complete comfort. No actual physical contact was needed throughout since we were social distancing making this an absolutely perfect stay. Unfortunately, we were needed at the hospital before breakfast so they could not enjoy the breakfast. Otherwise, we HIGHLY recommend this hotel. You will feel safe and comfortable.

Buyer beware. They charged me a $250 cleaning fee because they said I smoked in the room. I don’t smoke. Their word against mine. They took the $250 from my credit card. Total scam. I’ll never stay here again.

We often stay in Garden Inns, this was superior! Very clean, friendly and attentive.
We thought it must be a new facility - so spotless and no evidence of wear and tear that can occur over time. We were surprised to learn it was built 9 years ago.
Their attention to the COVID standards sets a high bar for other hotels and restaurants to aspire to reach!

The staff welcomed us as we walked in the door. It was a bit late when we walked in and asked about any nearby eating establishments. Immedicably, a staff member suggested that we dine in with them and she told us how great the Chef was! We ordered room service and what a great choice it was. Delicious Food.
Once we we in the room the front desk sent us a text asking if everything was okay with our accommodations. I've never received such professional courteous service once checked into a hotel before. Kudos to the Management & Staff! You're doing a fantastic job!

We are a pet friendly hotel. There is a $75 non-refundable fee for all non-service animals.
We do have a heated indoor salt water pool. But, we do not have a hot tub on property.
Actually the website shows pets allowed up to 35 lbs. We stayed there in December with our 18 lb dog with no problem.

We have mini fridges in all of our rooms! Each room also has a microwave, Keurig Coffee maker, and a safety deposit box.
