We were tired and was trying to find a place to stay that's a little more affordable and thought this hotel would be fine. Nope, not the case. After checking with the gentleman at the front desk around 8pm for rates, we decided to leave and weigh our options over dinner. Well, we should have looked again instead of staying here. The air conditioning made horrible noises all night which made for a bad night's sleep. The room as okay. Breakfast was THE WORST EVER! Prepackaged thin frozen waffles. No meat at all to be found. Cereal and packaged oatmeal. I told the family we should just skip it and go next door to McDonald's instead which was a 100x improvement. Stay away from this place. The guy running it seems crooked and tried to add a $50 fee plus another $10 on top of the high room rate. Keep your receipt just in case you need it for later. Horrible excuse for a Super 8!

Owner charged me $235 for one room (saying $100 of it was a safety deposit). He then refused to rent to me because in his option my signature didn't look exactly like it did on my drivers license (from 11 years ago). He then told me he didn't trust me because "white people are always smoking dope in my rooms". In front of my kids he implied we use dope.... ridiculous!

I was stopping there to relax for the night. I purchased my room online. When I went to check in they told me there was a $150 deposit to check in. I've stayed in many hotels and never had that kinda of deposit I would have left but with my card already charged i didn't want my credit card held up. The room was so old the a/c unit smelled like it was burning. I didn't stay the night I just left for the price it want worth it. I was also told any guest after 10 there would be a extra charge of $10.

This place was horrible, from the "I don't care" attitude of the front desk staff, to the poor maintenance and cleanliness of the room. They also surprise you at check-in with a mandatory $100 damage deposit. This is on top of charging more than the reservation amount (blaming higher taxes that "corporate" got wrong. There are plenty of similarly-priced options in the area - choose them over this place.

the room was clean but that's all. they say they clean every 2 days all they did was take the trash, 6 days and they never changed towels, re stocked coffee, made the bed or anything. the heater/air you could NOT shut off! web says breakfast but they not only had no breakfast there was no COFFEE! they charged a high price for a low end hotel! will not ever stay there again!

I booked this through Wyndham not thinking to check reviews and boy was I mistaken at the quality I’ve seen at other Super 8’s. To start we arrive to the woman at the front fest being rude to the client ahead of us who was promised a first floor room but they didn’t save it for him. Then we start checkin. She was rude, short, no personality and definitely the most unhelpful front desk attendant possible. After asking if we could pay cash she got an attitude and rudely explained the deposit process for cash. Then she wrote two numbers in the bottom of our card pocket and handed to us. She didn’t explain what room I was or what the written info meant.
Then we finally after having to go back to the front desk find our room. The floor had cleaning and bleach stains from who knows what. The bathroom had damage to the wall and the vent hanging from other wall. The bed was like sitting on the floor Because it was so old and full of worn out springs. The chairs and furniture were all damaged in some way also. The room just looked dirty and unkept. The second door doesn’t lock properly so anyone can get in and the building and our room had ants crawling. Needless to say, we were not happy.
I’m the morning the other attendant or manager (unsure) stated that his wife was the one who checked us in was unapologetic and Unhelpful when addressing our concerns. Thank goodness it was only a one night stay.

Overpriced and disappointing. Front desk manager was unfriendly. No pool. Continental breakfast was terrible. The kids wouldn't even drink the juice (said it tasted creepy). Just cheap gluten products for breakfast and our family is allergic. No plug for the bathtub. The room smelled of pot and pee. A sign at the front counter said everyone would be charged a $100 damage deposit and if you smoked weed they'd keep it. We stopped here just for rest and sleep while traveling, but for $125 it felt like a massive rip-off.

was kicked out of our room and they kept my $100 deposit because they said that I smelled like cannabis when I came in the door and that that would make my room smell the same and even though I had left the premises and not had it on the premise these places are just there to rip you off here in Springfield.
I talked to a person who work for two hotels next door to this one and they said they're known for doing that to people and they get lots of money that way by just saying they smell smoke or weed on the person not even in the room then they threaten to have the person arrested when they argue with them.

Smelly, wallpaper peeling off walls, Checking took forever. We’re told it was new computer system. desk lamp didn’t work, missing lightbulbs over sink…..close to restaurants, shopping, bass pro shop, bass pro museum.

Avoid this place. Charged $100 "deposit" on my credit card and it took a week to release it. Quiet place, almost empty... maybe 6 cars in lot at midnight. No discernable reason for the deposit. Terrible service people, weak English, no eye contact and dismissive to their guests. The rooms need maintenance and better cleaning. Too many good places on the same block. Oh and I see they charge $150 deposit now.
