The website did not mention that there are no pots, dishes, or even Kleenex in the rooms. I need to prepare my own meals. Thankfully I had some prep-prepared, but with no plates for the microwave that meant eating cold food.

Thank you for the compliments on our super clean rooms and thank you for the feedback about some kitchen amenities. It sure would be shocking if you were not first aware of our unique approach to lodging --- that guests pay a base rate and then add only the services and amenities that are important to them. Many guests just love creating a customized experience that is easier on the budget. About the cookware, we do not stock rooms to help keep our rates affordable. Many guests prefer to bring their own cookware or purchase what they need locally for the kitchen; we also offer kits (a Simply Cooking Kit and a Simply Dining Kit) for purchase at the Front Desk if that better meets your needs. I'm so sorry this was not what you were expecting and that it did not meet your needs. We would love to welcome you back if you ever have extended stay needs or just want a simple, basic, affordable stay in the future.

This is a very secure hotel. They have laundry facilities on site, & you can purchase a kitchen essential kit for a reasonable cost. The rooms are quite accommodating. They come with a full size fridge, 2 burner stove,& microwave.

Our stay at the Value Place from December 2014-March 2015 was very good. Alicia was a hardworking lady and was always there when needed. She made it worth the stay only if all the employees were like her.She is truly a asset to the company.Never once complaned about any services needed no matter what time day or night. Never take employees like her for granted.

i have stayed with this hotel many times and it never disappoints!!! The staff are so kind they greet you when you walk by the office area
or if you run into them outside! They are always trying to find reasons to help you get the best experience you can! It’s always clean in halls and never dirty! the rooms are spotless and very tidy, and if you need something all you have to do is ask and they would be more than happy to help the manager shana is a blessing she would go above and beyond to help you out! and the staff members rachael and edan are both so happy with smiles and very helpful when you have questions!! so i would say this hotel did make me feel welcome!!

Ms Eden was the best and my son absolutely adores her. Rooms were clean n smelled fresh Ms Eden was very welcoming n very helpful she also knows the area well enough to tell you of places to visit while u stay. It is what it is. A place for druggies snd day laborers. Bare bones. Everything reeks of pot and urine. Had no idea it was like this and checked out immediately. It seriously reminds me of a prison camp.

This dump is a RIP OFF!
Rooms are cleaned only after two weeks! That’s right. No clean sheets for two weeks! The extremely slow speed internet costs extra. Guests have to provide their own toilet paper and plastic bags for the trash cans. The huge diesel trash trucks show up around 2 A.M. and make sufficient noise to wake the dead. The so called kitchens don’t have dishes, flatware or a garbage disposal. The bed is nothing more than a thin, lumpy mattress resting on a wooden frame. The bed sheets have a texture like sandpaper.
Our room had lots of big spiders and cockroaches. The tv’s are ancient tube types with horrible reception. Several of the channels have exactly the same programming. Entry doors on both ends of the building have no shelter and the roof gables dump rainwater directly on anyone attempting to use the doors. During a rainstorm our room leaked water around the window and soaked our belongings.
The front desk is closed from 6 P.M. until 9 A.M. There are no overnight security personnel and the cameras are only on the first floor. So, after management leaves the premises, the parties begin. Lots of apparent marijuana smoke coming from the upper floors.
Melody the manager was so rude not only to us but to other guests as well! You can find much more value elsewhere.

Having spent more than a month here on a temporary business assignment I thought it prudent to write a review.
The rooms are clean, quiet, comfortable, and maintained by a dedicated manager and staff

The property is in an excellent location with many nearby amenities. Starbucks, two banks, a pharmacy, a U. S. Post Office, a FedEx business center, a beauty/nail salon, five restaurants and a fabulous Price Cutter food market are just a five minute walk away. The Price Cutter is particularly handy since all the rooms at Value Place have a full kitchen.
A fifteen minute walk will take you along well lit streets to three night clubs. In case you need to repent for your night on the town there are Catholic and Baptist churches within walking distance.
A ten minute walk gets you to a lovely city park that is complete with walking trails and a well-equipped playground for children.
A five minute drive north will get you to the Palace Theater. At the Palace, believe it or not, all movies are just $3 unless you attend on Tuesdays when the price is only $1! These admission prices are not typos.
However, I have saved the best thing about Value Place for last. The prices here absolutely cannot be beaten anywhere! A week’s lodging here costs about the same price that other hotels in the area charge for a couple of days.
So, at Value Place you get a clean, quiet, comfortable room with kitchen in a great location for a truly great price.

Drugs and drinking go on all night by people that stay here, all ages including teens. The person that runs the place stays at the hotel and didn't do anything about the kids that harassed my family. She had scabs all over her arms she must be in on the drug ring going on there. Our vehicle was keyed and still nothing done. These kids hang out in the parking lot, there are people that hang out in the ditch as well. We checked out the next morning and asked for a refund because we had paid for a full week but were denied. We called the police and they told us they are called 2x a week for disturbances. Never will stay here again!
