Overall, the hotel wasn't a bad stay. We just went for a single night stay. The pricing was higher than usual, and I'm not sure if why, but I wouldn't say that it is a $100 a night hotel. The beds were ok...nothing fancy. The room was clean, and there wasn't any smells nor lots of noise from others rooms. The bathroom/vanity area were really tiny. And due to COVID restrictions (STILL), breakfast was limited and there wasn't coffee available in the rooms. I wouldn't call the staff friendly as much as kind of indifferent.

We stayed for 2 nights. If was an overall decent stay. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were good which is nice. The refrigerator was plugged in to a oulet controlled by a switch that was off so there was water in in. It was fine after being turned on. Only issue we had was with the ants. Had a cup on the bedside table and awoke with 50+ ants in the cup and we were on the 3rd floor.

I stay in hotels 200 plus nights a year. After prepaying for the room on a 3rd party site, they make you pay $100 a night for a deposit. I’ve stayed in some of the nicest hotels across the world that don’t charge that much. To top it off, if you live within 20 miles of the hotel, which would be a local Springfield residence, they charge you $250 CASH deposit a night. The bed was lumpy. Pillows were hard and tiny.
As soon as we walked into the room and flipped on the light switch the coffee pot came on, which was full of water. It ran water all over the table, which got all over my books and papers. Night attendant at the desk wasn’t very pleasant. Find another hotel.

I used to stay here... no more! First they now charge a $10 Cleaning fee per person so that $79 price is really $99 for two people also they now demand a $250 CASH DEPOSIT. They just don't put a hold on your credit card, they suggest that you go across the street to the store and withdraw cash for the deposit. I'm sure that cash will still be there when you leave....Right. This is a SCAMMM stay away!!!

This place is a disgrace to its name. They promised us that we would be offered a no smoking and quiet room which they did not provide. They told us that we would be given a quiet room which they did not give us, we got a different room. We had asked for a no smoking room which they gave us but it reeked of cigarette smoke and was clearly not cleaned well at all. It set off an asthma attack on one of my family members which they did not accommodate to. When we brought it up to them they could not have cared less and would not give us a refund. The employee in charge at the front desk who said she was a manager would not give us a refund even though we had only walked in and said that we would not be staying at the hotel due to these issues. If I could give this place zero stars I would.

I checked in at 4:00 in the afternoon and noticed the room was rather chilly so I turned the heat on set the temp at 75 degrees. When my daughter and I returned later that evening, the room was not any warmer, we again adjusted the temperature as far up as it would go, put our swimming suits on to go enjoy the hot tub for a bit. The hot tub was luke warm at best, not relaxing at all, the automatic lights kept turning off because we were the only people in the pool area (not particularly fond of being in a large dark room). When we returned to the room, the temperature had actually dropped. We had to take hot showers just to warm up. I tried calling the front desk twice, but couldn't get an answer. We ended up turning off the entire unit because all it did was blow cold air. When we awoke the next morning, our room was freezing! I went down to get coffee and stopped at the front desk to let them know about the heat, and she was very short with me. Told me she would let the maintenance staff know. No apology, nothing! It was an awful experience and I will never stay at this hotel again!

Internet prices were $58-61. I called the local number to make a reservation. Apparently, reservation extension took me to Wyndham's call center. Best I could get was $89. Not really a problem. My grandchildren liked the pool from previous stays when it was in a different chain, so I booked for 2 adults and 3 kids for 2 nights. When I got there the reservation was for only 2 adults and they wanted $10 per night per kid. I tried to cancel but they wouldn't let me for either night. I will never stay at a Wyndham property again. I can only give them a low rating of 1 but sub-zero would be more accurate.

Students had the unfortunate experience of having to stay at this “motel”. Multiple rooms were booked and none of them were CLEAN. I am not sure what has happened to this facility, but taking care of it, is not the top priority. Please learn to wash down showers, toilets, sinks, walls when soiled, vacuum, sweep up hair, as well as pit clean sheets and blankets on beds! Our children deserved better. Shame on YOU!

I do not recommend this hotel. While the price was comparable to other hotels, the overall atmosphere and upkeep was very poor - the place legitimately smelled like wet dog. If that is the scent of the 'cleaning products', I would suggest a new provider. I was in town for a funeral and everywhere else was booked. I travel for work and stay in a lot of hotels, but this particular location will definitely be avoided if I have to go to Springfield for work. Not to mention Greene County being a COVID hotbed, the 'enhanced health and safety' question was a joke.
