The Best Western Coach House garners praise for its cleanliness and tranquil atmosphere, with many guests appreciating the tidy outdoor spaces and the peaceful environment. While opinions on the rooms are mixed, noting both their spaciousness and comfort alongside critiques about noise, the hotel's location is widely celebrated for its convenience to local dining and a beneficial points program.
The amenities, including being dog-friendly and offering a full breakfast, are popular among travelers, even as some mention limitations. Friendly staff and good service are often highlighted, though views on value for money show a divide among guests.

It was late at night and I needed a room. The front desk attendant Stormy was amazing. At 2am she was cheery and helpful. I was offered complementary bottles of water. The room she gave me was perfect. You never know what to expect, but it was a great experience. Thank you Stormy for all your help.

We were very impressed with the Best Western Coach House. The entire outside of the buildings were very appealing, with this being a one story motel with many larger multi-story hotels around it this one was so inviting for a stay. We had a late check in and the lady that checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. The free breakfast was amazing and the lady that was running the area was awesome, she made sure that the breakfast area was kep clean while constantly refilling the items available. The food was good, plentiful, and hot with eggs, sausage, potatoes, along with pastries and cereal. The room was nice and the bed was super comfortable. Next time my family is in town we will be staying here.

Loved our room. There is a restaurant on site. Since it was raining at the time of check in the front desk person let us park our motorcycles under the awning while we went to Ziggys next door for dinner and let the rain clear up before going to our room. The breakfast was great, even with covid got a hot meal, coffee and water. Just had to take back to our room. If you are traveling with children ask for a room by the pool and playground.

Front deck attendant at check in was subpar and had not been our experience at this location until this most recent stay. We regularly stay at Best Westerns, including this one many times in the past. We were quite disappointed as we booked a jacuzzii room online. We often travel with our dog. Our last stay at this location was in October and our dog was with us AND stayed in a jacuzzi room. At check in we were denied the jacuzzi room for this stay because our dog was with us because, we were told, that in October when we did stay in a jacuzzi room and most of the rooms in the establishment were occupied by people with their dogs who were participating in a dog show washed their dogs in the jacuzzi tubs. While our dog could be a show dog we do do not show her. We DID NOT wash our dog in the jacuzzi in our room. We pointed out that it is much easier to get a dog into a regular tub than a jacuzzi to bathe them AND that we had not washed ours while staying there; nor have we ever washed our dog in ANY hotel bathtub EVER. We were told that it was too bad because others had ruined it for us. So, this establishment apparently chooses to penalize guests for the wrong doing of other guests.
Additonally, we should have received a reduced room rate because my husband's employer has an arrangement with this location. We did not receive it even after my husband questioned the employee at the front desk and was told we would see a credit on our bill when we checked out. We did NOT.
IF y ou choose to stay at this location we suggest you not believe anything you are told by the front desk employees and review your bill at checkout which eliminates just leaving your keys in the room and leaving the day of your departure as we do at every other Best Western we have stayed in. All other staff we encountered and interacted with during our stay (housekeeping, breakfast, etc.) were kind, attentive and respectful.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Motel is updated and well-maintained. Lovely park-like grounds and a nice outdoor pool. Refrigerator and microwave in all rooms. All rooms are on one level and you can park right in front of your door. Have stayed here twice and will always stay here on trips to Springfield, MO.

We love the Coach House! We travel with our 2 small dogs to Iowa once a year and stay here because they have a lot of great green space for the dogs, a fenced in dog park and provide bags for cleanup if needed. I like that the room we stay in has a large counter area outside the bathroom. We also appreciate the mini fridge and microwave. Very comfy beds and bedding too!

My family stayed here for two nights on a road trip from FL to CO. I was impressed from the check-in. I was greeted by two friendly clerks and encouraged to take treats for both my human babies and my fur baby (they had caramels and dog treats in containers). The room was clean and comfortable. We were able to park right in front of our room and had a direct view of the playground so our daughters could play safely, while we sat in the chairs outside of our room and watched. The playground was nostalgia for my husband and I with the metal slides. The kids enjoyed watching us go down them too. The breakfast buffet contained the normal hot buffet items, but was very good quality. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay.

We strive to ensure our guests feel like family throughout their stay. We have many repeat guests and love getting to know their faces and names as they walk through the door. Your kind words and recognition are inspiring and will be passed on to our entire team. Thank you for taking the time to leave this incredible feedback. We hope to see you again in the future.

We stayed at the Best Western in Springfield during a two-day drive from Santa Fe to Milwaukee. We could not be more shocked that this dingy, depressing motel got any good reviews. It’s the kind of place where you drive your car up to the spot outside your room. The room was non-smoking, but there were cigarette burns in the upholstery of the miniature couch as well as in the carpeting.
The carpeting was rumpled and filthy—we would have attempted to switch rooms but had already done so once because of a barking dog in the room next door. We were too tired to move again.
The linens are awful—there was a dirty yellow velour accent piece of fabric on the bed. The sheets are thin and not fitted to the bed, and the duvet is so light weight that it just felt like another sheet. There were spots on the duvet cover.
It really was an unsanitary and neglected facility, and there are many other choices off that freeway exit. Stay away!

This hotel is our home away from home when we visit our Springfield family. I am a retired hospitality professional and the Best Western Coach house always gets top rating from me for comfort, service and value. On our last trip, we had a problem with uncomfortable beds. When we reported to the front desk, they quickly and professionally moved us to a room with upgraded beds for our second night and applied a courtesy discount to our bill. They explained there was a bed upgrade in process, and I suggested any rooms without really good beds be removed from inventory until upgrades are completed. This is the first problem we have had in our three years staying at this hotel, and it was handled very well.

I don't think there are any smoking rooms, but every room has a patio right area out front so there are plenty of places to just step outside the room for a smoke.
I have allergies myself and I have stayed there recently and Its not that strong.
I really dont know I would call the hotel directly
