Shout out to the front desk, Destry and Darrell in maintenance. My air was not working properly so I called the front desk. Darrell and Destry took care of the problem in no time. I was eating breakfast and Destry took the time to find me and let me know everything was good to go. And on top of that, they gave me an option of Hilton points or a free dinner. Obviously, I took the points. Thanks again! I travel 3 or 4 nights a week and wish every Hilton had the same type of customer care the Springfield Doubldtress does.

It was my fisrt time at the Double Tree by Hilton Springfield. Very nice hotel but need a refreshment.
The rooms are very comfortable and nice decorated. They just need new AC , not so noisy, that allow you to sleep trough the night . No USB chargers as well and no minibar .
I spoke with reception about the AC noise and they were very kind and professional. They try to move me to another room but i think it was same noisy system. They were simply the best staff , in particular Francis from front desk .
I was three nights and enjoy the other facilities, such as the gym and restaurant . The 10th floor also have a happy hour for the Honours Club members.
The staff really made the stay nice and hopefully they will start the reworks soon because hotel deserve it .

We have stayed at this hotel many times. It’s my favorite hotel in Springfield. The staff is always very nice and friendly and that’s very important to hotel guests. Also the main reason why I look forward to my stays. This is Covid-19 time so things are a little different. Hotel guests are required to wear masks when entering the hotel. I like that idea. Somehow it makes me feel safer. With the number of cases rising in Missouri, we chose to takeaway from Houlihan, the restaurant in the hotel. We ate in our room. The food is always delicious despite it being a little high. Anyway it’s expected. There’s another restaurant, Gracie’s, where we have breakfast. We enjoy eating there too. This stay was different from the rest of our stays in that I decided to explore the hotel. We have always gone straight up to our room. To my amazement, it is very big. There are meeting rooms, boardrooms, a ballroom and a conference room. There are beautiful pictures on the walls and vases of beautiful flowers. I must say that I am glad I made the effort to look around.

I stay at this property several times per year for business in Springfield. The hotel is overall a bit dated, particularly on the outside, and the rooms have very few outlets and no working USB ports for charging phones, etc., which is always a disappointment. The furniture is showing wear. I understand that the property is scheduled to undergo a refresh this year. I’m excited to see how much this improves the cosmetic/outdated issues. The shower and bathroom was clean, and all was in good working order. The bed is very comfortable. As a Hilton Honors member, I always opt to stay on the 10th floor, which is limited to Honors guests. It is always quiet and peaceful. Overall, a great hotel and one I plan on continuing to use for my frequent trips to the Ozarks.

My check in with jasmine who stated she was the supervisor was the worst I’ve ever had in all my stays. Try to check in at about 2 she told me their would be no rooms for at least a hour. I ask her if it was possible to get in a little earlier. She was very short and said NO that they only had 3 housekeepers. I am amazed that a hotel with hundreds of rooms during these times can be thoroughly clean by only 3 people! Rooms are very tired looking chair had tears doors had marks furniture is old. I’m a Diamond with Hilton and supposedly doubletree brand is one of there top tier brands. This is not one of those! For the price look elsewhere! Jasmine think about a job where you don’t need to deal with customers!

This place needs an update for how expensive the rates are! Also, there’s no free breakfast, and we had to RENT a fridge for $10 to be able to keep my infant’s milk cold in our room. Overall over priced and not worth the money for the quality of the stay. Also, super squeaky beds and our room’s AC kept kicking on and off the whole time and wouldn’t stay at a consistent cool.

I stayed at the Doubletree in Springfield, MO on Thursday, August 12th and I’ll never stay here again. The bed in my room was way past its replace-by-date, the leather chair looked like it came f try on a yard sale, and the sink/vanity was the size of one you would find in a camper for two. For this “cookie comfort” they charged $196.00 for one night. If you need a place to stay try the new Marriott Fairfield next to the Doubletree.

Wonderful place! Jayden at the front desk is AWESOME! NO free breakfast, but the buffet/omelet bar gives you the great breakfast we are used to like in the old days before free breakfast started at the smaller hotel. This is not a small hotel. They have a Houlihan’s in the hotel, which provides the room service. Jazz in the lobby on selected dates. No microwave or fridge in rooms by default, BUT they have me both for 10 bucks total for the 5 nights I stayed there. Walmart across the street. Great place, great location!

After coming back to my room at the end of a very long day, my room had not been cleaned, the beds weren’t made, and towels were not refreshed. When I called the front desk to complain, I was told they don’t clean rooms unless specifically requested to do so! There was a tiny sign on the mirror which one would have to be looking for to see that stated this fact. I’ve never had this happen at any Hilton property before and feel if this is the way they’re going to start handling room cleaning, then at the very least a guest should be told this when the room is being booked and AGAIN upon arrival. Had I known, I would have stayed elsewhere. I doubt The cost of the rooms have been reduced to reflect the reduced service. I’m an unhappy Hilton Honors member. That all said, the room was comfortable and the hotel itself was clean and looked nice.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience about your recent stay at our hotel. I am very sorry for your experience with the Hilton Stay Over Service. This change was implemented by Hilton in 2020 and is still in effect. The DoubleTree hotel in Springfield is more than happy to provide stay over service upon request. We do have signs at the front desk, on our elevators and as you mentioned in the rooms. However, we do try to always mention this to our guests upon check in as well and clearly that was not done. I am very sorry that we let you down and I will make sure that we use your comments to make sure that no other guest shares your experience. I was very happy to see that you enjoyed your stay and that you were provided a clean visit. We will be having some exciting upgrades coming to the DoubleTree Springfield very soon so I hope we are able to have you as our guest again very soon! We chose this hotel because it was pet-friendly, but ended up leaving our dog at home. But I am glad we chose it. Every member of the staff we spoke with was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. They are currently not cleaning stay-over rooms unless you request it so they can focus their cleaning on rooms that are turning over. I actually thought that was a very good idea. Having a restaurant on site was very helpful. It had an outdoor patio, so we were able to sit outside and feel comfortable in terms of the Covid virus. The food was quite good, too! All hotel and restaurant staff were wearing masks, and masks are required when you enter the hotel lobby. I absolutely would stay there again.

If you want to be close stay at Hammonds center hotel downtown near the ball park
It is east of the airport. about 25 minutes.
No, but there is a good restaurant and bar attached. There is also a very good BBQ restaurant in the parking lot of the hotel.
Our rooms do not have wired Ethernet connections, it is all wireless.
