Hotel's Favourite
Very few hotels are exceptionally above standard. This is one of the few that are.
Yes, it may be smaller in scale and lack excessive ornamental decor. But what it lacks in vanity it makes up for in service and spirit.
Cleanliness is exceptional. Everything was very hygienic, and you can tell housekeeping does a through job. It's not a problem, however, the pull out bed looked like it had been slept in but wasn't "dirty" by any means. After briefly calling the clerk, she apologized many times before hurriedly bringing new clean sheets/pillow/blanket, and for the trouble added points to our Hilton account. She even offered to make it for us, which we declined but still appreciated. They honestly care about the cleanliness and your satisfaction.
The breakfast area is excellent. The foods are changed every day, which is nice since the same foods get dull. The employees running it are very kind, always give a "Good Morning!" And a warm smile when coming to breakfast.
The parking lot is decent in size, which I feel important to point out since some hotels have near zero parking spaces.
The pool is nice, and an A+ to the exercise room, it was actually surprising at the quality of the equipment. Workout fanatics will appreciate it!
And finally, the customer service. THIS is what blows me away. Most places are cordial, and the service is standard. But here is a different story. Literally, everyone here is absolutely a joy to work and converse with. From desk service to room service, one of the friendliest hotels I have ever had the joy of staying with. Thank you to all the amazing staff that work here!

The coffee pots in the room are designed in a way that uses a new plastic strainer for each cup which is far cleaner than the old wash and reuse strainers, kudos. The pillows and bed were very comfortable. Everything in the room was clean, and I do check for that thoroughly. Only complaint was the heater had a weird noise that woke me up early and lasted for several minutes but then stopped. The price for the room was a little high considering other rooms in Hilton Hotels I frequent in bigger cities with more amenities, but overall a great place to stay and close to shopping and restaurants. Digital Key is great!

Good hotel to stay in on long trips. Breakfast starts early and runs late for those who don't have to rush out in the morning. It is a reliable, affordable hotel to stay and have a decent breakfast before you start your next day of driving.

Breakfast was the BEST ever for a hotel. They served pomegranate smoothies and blueberry waffles along with the standard fare. Staff was friendly and hotel clean. Near bass pro shop. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed several nights while doing some motorcycle riding. I love that they are still offering the evening cookies. The bathrooms also had mouthwash and liquid bath soap. The bar soap, which I use, had almond in it and I have had allergies to tree nuts so the front desk got me some neutragena instead. Bed was comfortable. Parking was good.

We stayed at this Hampton Inn South in July 2020. The hotel was very clean. The staff were very friendly and personable. Breakfast was very well prepared, hot items, served by staff, and delicious. We would stay here again.

It was a wonderful stay. There are three Hampton Inns in Springfield, Mo. and although I haven't stayed in the other two, but this one on 3232 Glenstone Ave. is in great location. It was already getting dark when we arrive, I didn't realize that this location is very close to few restaurants like Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen. In fact, it shares parking lot with a Busted Burger restaurant. It also sits beside a shopping center. It's practically beside it that you can walk to it.
We made no reservation prior to arriving because we were travelling and don't know where we going to end up at but encountered no problem when we check in. Our room was clean. Breakfast were good and staffs were courteous and accommodating. Highly recommending this location.

I had a 4 hour drive that was very draining due to several account stops along the way. When I arrived at the hotel, it was written all over my face that I was beat. The complete staff was very accommodating and Wendy, one of the managers there surprised me with a gift card for a local restaurant. As a Hilton Club member I expect great service and take too much for granted. I have never written a review, and I simply want to thank the Hilton team at Springfield South for their work especially doing this trying time of COVID-19. Happy Holidays to you all!

The front desk staff were very attentive and offered me water upon my arrival. The room was clean and very well maintained. Room and bath were much smaller than other Hampton Inns I have stayed in. Breakfast was not that appealing. Items were not warm and the selection was not that great.

They let us check in early which was super helpful as we had a vehicle needing repaired suddenly while traveling.. We needed a pet room. The breakfast was your normal fare. I cannot stress enough that being a pet property was such a value for us. Especially in the emergency that we had.
