Very good property Rooms were clean Refrigerator and microwave worked very well. They served a nice breakfast every morn. This property was located perfectly in range of restaurants. Shopping. Medical fac. We stay here for 18 days. Very impressed with this facility. After I had stay in a disaster for two days. Give these folks a try.
This was as nice as we would normally expect from a good Comfort Inn. It is in a good location close to several restaurants and we felt completely safe. The desk clerk was friendly. We left so early the next morning that they had not started the breakfast service yet but they did have coffee out at 6:30am.
We stayed here last night. Check-in was quick and the room was very clean. A couple of quirks were the sink which was much higher than normal and one of the beds was crooked on the frame. I tried to straighten the bed but couldn’t. It didn’t seem to fit the frame. The bed was comfortable though. Breakfast was good.
somehow my review of yesterday was credited to my wife so I will try again. stayed on May 2 on our way to Arizona and on our way back on May 9. First night there were few guests but the second had a lot. Both nights were quiet though. The location is safe and quiet. Everything was very clean except the stairway. The elevator was better.Stayed in a 2 double room which was small but the bed was fine for 2 average size husband and wife. Hot breakfast was above average in quality and selection. Would stay again even though it is on the south side of town.
stayed May 2 on our way to Ariz. and on may 9 on our way home. First night had very few quests but second stay had a lot. Both nights were quiet though. Safe quiet location. Very clean except both times the stairway needed attention. Elevator was better. We stayed in a 2 double bed room which was a little small. the bed was fine though. Hot breakfast was above average in selection. Would stay here again even though it is on the south end of town. From I44 go south on Gladstone almost to Rt. 65. Check your directions though as there are several ways to get there from !44.
Assistant manager Mark and old lady Diana are straight up liars. I booked through Expedia for 3 nights. Got to town, realized on day 2 I didn’t need the 3rd night. I called the hotel and spoke with Diana. She told me that I could check out and get a refund for the 3rd night. I come back, pack up my stuff and go to the front desk to check out. There I am told they can’t refund it but that it I call Expedia, they will handle it and Mark personally assured me that he would work with them. I chat with Expedia, they call the hotel and Mark tells Expedia that he will not be issuing a refund. I call the hotel and ask mark why he is refusing after he told me he would work it out with them, and he said “because your rates lower and you didn’t book with me I’m not refunding.” Stay away from this place. It’s old, run down and has hard beds as well.…
This was our second stay here after a visit the same time last year. Both times, the check-in staff (last year Alex, this year Mark) couldn't have been nicer in getting us situated. Room was very clean which must be very challenging as I'm sure most hotels are dealing with staffing shortages. The bed was very comfy (and clean). It was great as we were able to unload near our room and able to keep an eye on our car from the room. Breakfast was similar to what we're used to. For years we've stayed at a hotel chain we liked very much but had become quite pricey. All in all, this is comparable at a much more reasonable price.
I made a reservation for a jacuzzi suite so me disabled husband could relax away the pain of a day's travel. When I went to check in the clerk was very overwhelmed and flustered. He insisted that my husband could not have his mobility assist service dog in the jacuzzi suite and he would give us a double queen instead because the jacuzzi suite was a "pet free" room. No how many times I attempted to educate him on ADA law he wouldn't listen. Finally I left to discuss it with my husband. If we were going to be stuck in a plain room without a jacuzzi we could certainly find something cheaper. I attempted to call customer service and no one ever did answer. Finally the clerk called me and started backtracking and apologizing. We finally made it to our room and the jacuzzi had black mold in the fixtures!!! GROSS!!! THEN...the elevator broke and my husband had to try to manage stairs. We never got breakfast the first morning because the attendant wouldn't stop hanging out at the front desk talking long enough to serve us. The second morning the same attendant wouldn't even turn around to speak to me professionally. She stood with her back to me asking what do I want. When I asked for two orders of biscuits and gravy with sausage links she gave me 2 plates. Each plate had one very dry biscuit with a small dollop of flavorless gravy that barely covered the biscuit and definitely not enough to counteract the extreme dryness of the biscuit, a fork and knife stabbed into the top of the biscuit...and one sausage link. We will never stay here again. I'd call and demand a refund, but they won't answer the phone....oh yeah, let's not forget the kids running and screaming up and down the hall until nearly 10:00pm.…
This hotel could have been a 5 star review except the cleanliness issue with the bedding. Unfortunately that is such a big deal it overshadows all the good for me. The positives: - Huge wall mounted TV - Comfortable bed (except for the way too soft pillows) - Huge jacuzzi tub in the bathroom! (this was in a handicap king room) - Still served breakfast, they served it to us instead of self serve but I really appreciated it since some hotels just stopped offering breakfast during Covid. The food was good too! - sausage, eggs, biscuits/gravy and potatoes. - Location is great, near restaurants and lots of shopping. It also felt very safe! - Indoor pool and jacuzzi area looked great but we didn’t have time to try it. - room had mini fridge and microwave which is nice to have. The Negatives: - the room was not as clean as I would have liked. The bedspread had dirt/mud spots that were obviously not stains that just hadn’t come out. There were a couple hairs on it too. - We found a pair of glasses left by a previous guest right on the floor by the bed/wall. Made me wonder how they had remade the bed on that side and not noticed.... - The ceiling in the bathroom had some water damage and showed signs of mold. The caulk around the tub and shower really needs to be redone as it was missing in lots of places and badly discolored in others. Oddly the room itself seemed newly remodeled but the bathroom did not. …
Room was fine asked for a room to keep en eye on my truck parked in back and was still placed on the other side of hotel Trailer hooked to my truck had the lock cut off. They stole a bottle jack out of the back of it. Thank goodness my custom motorcycle was not touched. Reported it to front desk the lady was not surprised one bit like it happens there now and then. She was no help and with out police report could not look at security tapes I would say that if your staying park in a well light area
