This hotel exceeded my expectations for it's price range. Everything was clean and comfortable. I will definitely choose this hotel again when staying in Springfield. I had expected much less from a hotel as inexpensive as this one. The location was great. Breakfast was the weakest point and we were still satisfied with that. The following night we stayed at a hotel with a higher price point that made us realize that this hotel was not only cheaper, but better in every way except the breakfast.

I would like to rate this one higher but we had a few issues, mostly with the cleaning. We found a pair of shorts hanging on the bathroom door. It appeared that housekeeping does not close the door when they clean the bathroom because there was dust and hair on the floor. Granted it’s a tiny bath room but they need to clean that area too! The bed was a little worse for the wear too. We got a king and there were definite dips.
On the plus side, it’s very quiet, ample parking, decent breakfast, good location. Front desk person was not rude when I talked to her about the room and the morning staff is very friendly.
For the price we paid, I would stay again. I’d just make sure I got a clean room.

If you like having free breakfast at a hotel, don't choose this one for that option. They had hardly anything to offer to even call it breakfast. The 3 cereal options were all sugary cereals. The milk for the cereal was luke warm at best. The pastries selection was just 2 kinds of muffins. There was bread for toast but no butter for the toast. The only fruit option was overripe bananas. I don't remember even seeing yogurt as an option. The owners of this place are too cheap to provide waffles and boiled eggs like most hotels I have stayed at.
On the other hand, the front desk staff was super nice, I didn't have any issues with check in or out. The rooms were super clean. I didn't receive any maid service by choice so I can't rate that. It was nice quiet stay as far as the room itself was concerned.

Great hotel for those who enjoy sleeping in their car. I've stayed here in the past and they have always had really comfortable beds. However, this trip was different. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. After 3 hours of tossing and turning, I went outside and slept in my car. My teenage daughter did not sleep at all that night because it was so uncomfortable. The wallpaper in the bathroom was moldy and dirty around the tub. There were 3 towels in a room that sleeps 4, and there was loud music blasting down the stairway (presumably from the owner's apartment.) The breakfast was still a "covid" breakfast, even though the seems to be the only precaution the hotel is taking. I'm guessing it is because they can give each guest a banana, granola bar and pre-packaged danish for around 75 cents. I've stayed here several times and have usually been happy with it. I know what my expectations should be for a budget hotel. However, I do expect the beds to be sleepable.

My daughter and son in law were driving across the country. They're both young, he's in the military.

They took the reservations, took their money at the front desk then refused service because neither were 21 yet.

They're married, her husband is in the military and they're moving across the country with everything they own in a trailer and these idiots took their money and refused to give them a room. They're refunding their debit card but we all know that takes around a week after the money is pulled to be refunded.

Watch your back. These are not honest people.

I always struggle with a poor review on places. The price here was reasonable enough at $99 per night. The front desk staff was nice and friendly. The hallway was clean and fresh looking. But...... at first glance the room appeared to be clean. Notably, It wasn't gross. It mainly just needed to be cleaned thoroughly. There was a leftover tooth picker under the chair. There was accumulated dust and dirt around the floorboards. The lamp shades were cracked and worn... just little things that the hotel could make right. The bed did not sleep well. It was a lumpy mattress that even my 6 foot husband struggled to get in and out. Finally, the breakfast was a standard continental breakfast. Bananas, cereal, orange juice, milk, coffee, toast, and some muffins. The area was clean and the attendant was friendly. This review was not meant to be mean or picky... just informative.

This place is close to highway 65 which was what we needed. Have stayed at Days Inn before in Wyoming that where very nice and accept pets. The pictures looked like the place was nice.
When we pulled in I could tell it was an old Hotel and walking inside you could see it. Entry area was clean and the staff were polite.
Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable TV was like 32 inch. Room amenities worked and there was HOT water instantly. The carpet seemed new although I prefer rooms without as I feel it is cleaner.
Breakfast was minimal from what the gal said that checked us in. At the time of this we never tried breakfast.
The rooms are big and the bathroom had a tub/shower we have stayed at a lot of Hotels that just have showers any more.
Toilet sits low to the ground and didn’t flush well as it is dated too.
There was a movie theater next door and a fantastic grocery store as well as a Deli for subs. Plenty of restaurants in the area.
Would I stay here again? It is dated but I felt it was clean, if it would suit my needs again I would say yes. Although I like to try new places so would look for other Hotels in the area that excepted pets.

My son and I stayed here on a trip to the area - mostly Silver Dollar City in Branson. The price was right, the room was comfortable and modern, and the staff (especially the morning desk employee) was very kind. Although we could have stayed closer to Branson, we had Springfield locations to visit as well. The location of this Days Inn served our plans very well.

This location is close to hospitals, Bass Pro and of course Missouri State U. They offer a military discount and the photos they feature on the website is exactly what you see when you check in. It's clean and the employees are very nice and helpful if you have questions. You can't beat the price

Bed mattress should’ve been thrown away 10 years ago – you could hear and feel the springs between the lumps! Electrical of wall outlets did not work nor did the shampoo dispenser in the shower. When reported to staff was just told “we will let maintenance know”
