The website was deceiving, The grounds were filthy , cigarette butts all over outside and trash , sidewalks and walk ways very dirty, didn’t look like anyone did yard maintenance . Our first room smelled terrible, the 2 nd rm had burn holes in carpet , no towels , ph did not work, stains in sink , diswasher dirty dishes still on it. coffee pot pour all over , centipedes in bathroom. Looked like families were living there full time. Had to go buy towels was told twice they we’re getting them. Finally at 9:30 pm we got some no iron. The only good thing the Lobby was very nice. I hope they make improvements for the future. I’ve never had a experience like this and usually check rooms before I pay.
We were very disappointed with our stay. We booked the two beds with the pull out couch. We received a room with two beds only. We showed the guy our confirmation email and he didn’t care a bit. Said he had nothing. As soon as we walked in to check in. The guy that was working started complaining about how he got wrote up for the day as soon as he got there. We had no trash cans in our room. The guy at the desk told us he didn’t have any and handed us a trash bag. We wanted a refund but he denied it. We will never stay there again and we visit Springfield a lot for our kids sporting stuff. Very dissatisfied
I didn't know what to expect when i found this deal, this place was around the same price as the other hotels and motel, I didn't see any problems and what is sad that people will pick about something at every place they go, if you don't like it stay at home, When you walk in, you are greeted by John, who is super cool and friendly, I was on the first floor in area 4, I didn't notice my neighbors upstairs or outside either, the place was amazing too, the kitchen was just like at home with ice maker too, dishwasher, the kitchen had a bar counter, gas grille outside to cook on, swimming pool some of the quests were enjoying it, the bed was good, I didn't have any back problem, so the tv sound wasn't good i did hear it that isn't stopping from not going back, will be back in September for cards game …
Pictures must be 10 years old. Did NOT look like this. Room had not been swept for weeks!! Human & animal hair everywhere along with dirt & crumbs.Bathtub nor toilet were clean, even though we had to wait 20 minutes for maid to "clean" our room after we checked in. Almost empty toilet paper roll & no extra so we ran out & no one in the office to get more. 2 towels & 2 bath mats, no wash cloths or hand towels. Coffee pot had dried coffee in bottom of pot. One bed was made with a blanket on it, the other had none & no extra blankets in room. Cover over air/heat unit was falling off, no grab & go breakfast.Building is in dire need of remodel.
The website looked good. The reality was less than accurate. Room was shabby, as there was a whole in the carpet , scrapes and wholes in the wall, questionable cleanliness. It did not appear to have bedbugs.King size bed, but very hard. We were told by the check in clerk a grab and go breakfast was available the next morning. However, when we went to get breakfast the next morning, we were told their truck had not come in, so sorry, no breakfast. Paid $72.00 for the night. Poor value.
Last nights stay was very nice. The price was excellent and exactly what we were looking for. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the towels. We had 2 towels for for 2 people and they are way to small for anyone of any size. Breakfast was nice and warm. Thanks
I pretty much stay here 4 times per year for medical and a few times for personal. It's a little old and kind of worn but the convenience to Cox and all of my doctors makes it my go to place when I come to Springfield. I am okay with breakfast, it's not home made but I eat it every time I stay here. The ability to park at the room door is great, it beats entering a building from the parking lot and then have to walk another 5-10 minutes to reach your room. The staff Is always trying to make sure everything is clean and quiet Being pet friendly (80lb. Dog)is fantastic and there are several nice places for the dog to roam, including a pond with a trail. There us also a pool and a gas bbq available. It's very easy to get to National street and easy to get to Glenstone street as well. I don't know of a more user friendly place to stay for my needs when in Springfield Maybe I'll try their sister motel and see what it's about but in the mean time I'm happy here at Arbour Suites Medical Mile.…
Someone paid for 4 rating. This facility has very friendly staff and is still investing money but the building is similar to motel 6 in 1980's. The location is great but they need to demo for a nicer hotel near Cox Healthcare. No live bugs, but found dead roach in bathroom. The wallpaper is falling and coming loose in multiple areas of the room, even had stapled paper under the toilet paper area. Couch is disgustingly stained. I always, always, always check under the sheets on the mattress n cover, found nastiness on one of the beds. Overall the room was as clean as could be. The morning breakfast was fine, nothing fancy but plenty of choices for the size of area. Again friendly and helpful staff. Rebuild a LaQuinta here!!!
Amazing staff! Willing to go the extra mile to make our stay worthy. Nice rooms, located near shopping and restaurants. Very Affordable. Highly recommended. Housekeeping was very accommodating and the front desk lady was very bubbly and approachable. Will be staying again.
I have yet to find the perfect hotel room, but there wasn't that many flaws. The room was spacious, beds were comfortable and plenty of pillows. I would of liked a warmer shower, but the knob would not turn any further. The sofa in the room is outdated and not that comfortable. There is a ceiling fan in the room, which was nice, but there was no way to turn it off because there was no switch or chain to pull. Wallpaper was letting loose at the seams which can be easily fixed. There is a hospital down the street, so ambulances and helicopters can be noisy. There is a hair dryer in the room which is a nice touch. The continental breakfast was nice and the staff kept it full.
