We stayed for 1 and and found the room to be spacious, clean, tidy and comfortable. The welcome was friendly and helpful and this B&B is nicely located for the southern part of the lake district. The rooms have a folder with lots of local information provided to help with the area. The breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty. Also the...

Gorgeous quiet location up a long driveway. Received a very friendly welcome. The house and room were tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was included and although I opted for continental the cooked breakfast looked good. Made my business trip feel like a little holiday.

The 'house' itself is lovely, there are stairs to get to the rooms, but the room we had was a lovely size and the en suite bathroom was more than adequate, with a bath and shower. The breakfast was superb, plenty to choose and even our dog was welcomed. We were given some scales we could use to weigh his...

Lovely old house situated in lovely garden and lawns. Rooms are very large, clean and well furnished. Paid lot more for less. Made to feel welcome and at home. Milk in fridge outside room which is useful. Breakfast very good. May be a drive away from main lakes but we'll worth it for accommodation on offer. Parking on site.

Stayed at the foxcroft B and B for a week, the place itself is beautiful, the exterior has been recently repainted and mixed with the well maintained grounds leaves a stunning view. We welcomed by malcolm one of the owners and he was very warm and welcoming. The rooms are big sized and well presented and kept. The view from...
