The town itself is an antique collector's dream, as was the Brick Inn. Art and Kathy, the owners/operators, were very courteous and helpful in suggesting places we might go. Several wineries in the area are certainly worth visiting and there are numerous fun restaurants in the area that serve delicious food.

We visited Washington for a birthday trip in February and chose to stay at the Brick Inn. There were 6 of us total so we pretty much had the entire house to ourselves with the exception of one room which the innkeepers, Art and Kathy, stayed in for the night. The house itself is nice, with a nice mix of...

This was our first experience at a bed and breakfast. It was a perfectly romantic get away! The room was huge, and featured lots of amentities. The breakfast was outstanding, and they even sent us home with a recipe! It was quite, peaceful, and the atmosphere was just perfect! Thank you Art and Kathy for a wonderful stay, we will...

The accommodations were OK, definitely not pristine, but the breakfasts were good. The stay did not start off well, as the first thing we saw when entering our room was an envelope propped up on the table labeled TIPS. As I believe in tips when appropriate, but had never seen this obvious request before in a bed and breakfast, I...

Wife and I had a great time here. The B&B is quiet, tasteful, comfortable, and the breakfast was great. Art gave us good advice on a restaurant. We slept great. In the morning, a carafe of good strong coffee was placed outside the room. Next time we're staying in Washington, we'll probably stay here. By the way, we stayed in...

We found the Brick Inn to be charming and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and more than we could eat. Since there were 3 couples in our group, we had the place to ourselves. Art was thoughtful and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Waking up to fresh coffee & cream right outside our bedroom door...and decaf for...

The thing I think most people feel when leaving this place is "well taken care of". This is because Art (owner) bends over backwards to give you what you want. Whether you love his breakfasts or not (which I loved), you will feel like he put a lot of work into making it, as both breakfasts look like art...prepared by...

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was very nice and the breakfast was excellent! The setting is lovely with giant pecan trees, beautiful flowers, and a nice location downtown. We had the suite for three. We highly recommend it!
