Wonderful place to visit. Where my Grandparents lived most of their life. I highly recommend Miller's Motor Lodge, family run, always clean & in a park like setting. I always stay here & rent the little banquet room for our family get togethers!

Not real clear when booking on line, but the campsites only have electricity, no water hook up. But worse, the lakeside loop is thick with goose poop--so much that we had a difficult time walking out dog outside of it and had to wash paws thoroughly after. Third, the website does not have an address for GPS use and when...

On a little weekend road trip we happened across this state park. What a hidden gem! We got lucky and were able to rent a sleeper cabin for the night. The hiking is incredible. The lake beautiful and peaceful. Lots of wildlife. If you hike far enough you will come across an old cemetery. Way cool. We love this place...

We have been on a rode trip for weeks And we came a cross off our map. And decided to camp here at this wonderful park. The host was wonderful she recommend for us to camp near the lake which was very beautiful. If you are ever close to Wappapella Lake in Missouri its worth camping there very quite.

They need to put some money into a good vacuum cleaner to clean every nook and cranny; get rid of the mold in the bathroom and on the ceilings; fix the leaky faucets; paint the walls and ceiling; and purchase...

I love Lake Wappapello. It is peaceful, beautiful and there are freedoms to be enjoyed that a lot of state parks don't offer. (Nighttime fishing, boating, etc in some instances) I love the camper cabins and recommend the accessible cabin when available. It's got the best view and more space outside. The manager in charge at Breaking Waves was amazing...
