Location is one of the few inside Glacier Park. View off the deck is beyond all spectacular. Hotel itself is decrepit, small rooms, and we were on the "renovated" side. I think in this context "renovated" means they put in new lights and new faucets and that is about it. I would go back for the view experience, but I'd...

Staying at many Glacier Lodge is like stepping back in history. The lodge is amazing, full of historical detail in this incomparable setting. It is a perfect place to relax in this setting on a beautiful lake surrounded by mountains, glaciers, wildflowers, bears.....The dinning room is full service with an excellent menu served by a cheerful energetic staff. Rooms are...

This is a rustic, historic hotel. We stayed in an un refurbished lake view room. Small, a full size bed and a small bathroom. I would return in a heartbeat because, deck chairs view of Swiftcurrent lake, mountains, glaciers, fabulous sunsets. I could have stayed on the deck all day, but many day hikes & activities accessible from the hotel....

This is one of those places that is really pretty good; large iconic lobby, crackling fire, formal dining and more...but the real kicker for this place is its incredible location. The views are stunning and the wildlife is incredible and plentiful. If you do go, it is worth waking up at sunrise and walking around the area and taking in...

Many reviewers have written very precise information. I agree with their comments. But keep in mind why you choose this hotel. It must be one of the most fabulous settings in the world. The sun moving across the sky changed the spectacular light on the mountains so close you can almost touch them from the hotel. We took the boat...

It's hard to book on-line even 6-month in advance. I saw hotel's history from every corner. The room was small but comfortable. Everything is old but work. I booked a "refurbished room with lake view" on-line. But I can tell the "refurbishment" in room. But, I like it. There' re several restraunts in holtel. You don't need to worry about...

This is an old hotel, obviously been updated and upgraded many time during its life. However, it is still an OLD lodge. The rooms are larger than I expected, and the beds were comfortable. However, the sink is in the bedroom, and the bathroom is very small. The shower is about 36”x36”. Towels were adequate, but do not expect bath...

We stayed two nights at the Many Glacier Hotel in two double/twin rooms. While the rooms did not adjoin inside, the shared balcony provided fine access to each room. The view of Swiftcurrent Lake was spectacular, especially at dawn. The bellmen, reception and hotel staff, save the Ptarmigan Room were superb, with the bellmen making our small children feel special...

We first visited Banff and stayed at a Fairmont, then made our way down to Montana. I appreciated this leg of our trip so much more! The Many Glacier is old, yes. But we needed a place to sleep, eat, and shower. Our room was clean and cute. Two twin beds with a porch overlooking the lake, a small bathroom,...

We spent 2 nights here and two nights in the cabins at Lake McDonald Lodge during our visit to Glacier National Park. The Many Glacier area of the park is beautiful and this was the only area of the park where we saw grizzlies and moose. The lodge is rustic. No TV and the wifi is so bad that it's...
