The Huntley Lodge was very nice. We didn't stay at the lodge but rather a cabin up the mountain. We did enjoy the Huntleys pool and food. Both were nice, not amazing. The location couldn't be better though!

Georgeous property and even better scenery. We loved our stay in Big Sky! The breakfast was delicious and we had great service each day. I did expect better value for money as we had a few issues with housekeeping. One day the room was not cleaned at all after we removed the DND sign around lunch time and another day...

Big Sky is beautiful, but the Huntley sucks! We just stayed there for three nights. The hotel staff is good but the rooms suck -- think Motel 6. The toilet paper and facial tissue feel like sandpaper, no really, this is the roughest tissue we've EVER experienced. We arrived and the toilet seat lid was on the floor next to...

Upon reserving room, we had to pay an upfront payment for one night plus tax. Paying what we did, I was expecting a big room with state of the art furniture and a nice comfy bed. The hotel lobby was beautiful, however the rooms are old, outdated, and the smell is stale. It looks like an old hospital, and there...

We stayed several days in one of the condos. The rooms offer beautiful views but are a bit outdated, and very spacious for the 2 of us. The biggest problem was the mattress in the bedroom, which was rather small (twin size?) higher in the middle than at the edges. We were waking each other up every time one of...

Spent a month here one winter and it was incredible. I see a lot of negatives in the recent reviews and I am sorry that it has not kept up. I must agree that it seemed a little noisier this year, but not enough to ruin the stay. The skiing here is incredible, the people are all friendly and there...

Beautiful location, friendly staff, lovely rooms. We visited the Huntley Lodge in August, 2015, and were impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the size of the room. Our room had two queen beds on the main level, a raised platform with seating area overlooking the swimming pool, and a loft that held another queen size bed. The lobby...

I was lodged at the Huntley for a meeting 2 weeks ago. An envelope on the beds read to the effect: "we have listened to your comments and responded" or some such language. The envelope contained ear plug inserts! The location is certainly lovely and I have no data from other hotel options in the area but the noise level...

the rooms have thin walls and remind one of a cheap hotel. It is the oldest part of the complex so construction was pretty basic. The rooms are spacious enough and have a nice little bar space, but if someone is taking a shower with the door closed, you can't even hear the TV. Voices from the hall are very...

We have stayed here for five years in a row at new years...There are cheaper options but with a great breakfast included, places to put skis, pools, hot tubs, it is the best location when you have family. The condos are super and can sleep a pile of kids..very nice..The rooms are pretty marginal for the price but the condos...

Conveniently located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this three-story hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. It is as tasteful as it is convenient: the Explorer Lift is just out the back door. Under the same roof are concierge, dining, shopping, ski storage, meeting rooms, and spa.
