We are relocating to Bigfork. The Swan River Inn was the most economical place to stay. It was quaint. The room was clean but dated. The bathroom was remodeled and Very nice. Our room was on the third floor which involved climbing a spiral staircase. Good value for the money.

We spent a night at the Victorian suite. Really romantic, beautiful view, fireplace. Plenty of clean towels, real glasses instead of those hotel paper cups. Everything was super clean. We are planning on going back!

I arrived about 4pm and the door was locked. I happened to notice my name on an envelope by the door containing my key and paperwork. Room was very hot both nights, even when the heat was off. Room was clean and bed comfortable. I would not book again.

My husband and I love spontaneity, and we knew we'd be in the Glacier valley area of Montana, but we had no idea where we'd stay each night. We ended up in Bigfork and loved the quaint look of it, and while walking around we meandered around a corner and noticed an inn. A lady chatting on the sidewalk happened...

We have stayed here twice and really like it. The owner built and decorated this in her own style and it is a treasure. We get a room with a balcony overlooking the Swan river as it flows into Flathead lake. The area has restaurants, pubs, theater and shopping to walk around this quiet, artistic community.

We were visiting from out of state and our friends scheduled this hotel. Well, we were a boy t worried when we saw the rating on trip advisor but we went anyway! I AM SO GLAD WE DID! We stayed in the Tuscan suite! I didn't want to leave. It had its own patio that looked at the lake (flathead...

Avoid this place at all costs. I read a lot of reviews about it and saw a lot of negative comments about the owner. When I spoke to her on the phone, she was very nice and I thought it would be fine....people complain about stuff all the time for illegitimate reasons. Boy, was I wrong. We arrived to a...

We stayed in the 'Safari' room which was a unique African themed room with a king size bed. The location is great if you want to stay in downtown Bigfork. We found it a little loud as they had a private party next door and the downtown pedestrian traffic took the peacefulness away. I guess I'm just not into animal...

This inn has themed rooms. We were in the safari room which had a beautiful view of the lake, street level so easy to get to. Proprietor was lovely lady. Not your typical hotel room, so quaint. Two blocks from downtown which is full of excellent restaurants and unique shops.

First thing when I looked for enough towels for the three of us, the drawer fell off the cabinet. Not enough towels, small room, beds not great. Not enough hot water for the tub or a shower, even being the first person to take the shower.
