I've never stayed at a bed a breakfast but I was traveling to GlacierNP and needed a stop over place to rest up for the night. I decided to try a bed a breakfast, the thought of staying in a turn of the century mansion that belonged to one of the richest men in America(William Clark) sounded good. I'll be...

Erin & family were wonderfully friendly hosts and it was a treat to stay at their historic home. The mansion is so unique and the original features are fabulous. The mansion is in a quiet, historic part of Butte with good dining nearby. Although the rooms were warm and the house is creaky (as it would be, given it's age!),...

We stayed at the master suite. It's showing it's age but that's what makes it cool. The lack of shower in the bathroom is an known factor up front. So, we prepared for it. Great breakfast in the morning. The owner shows us how to get round the ghost towns we planned to visit saving us lots of time too....

Copper King is right downtown. You can't get any closer to the genealogy library at the Butte/Silver Bow archives. Plus, the owners are extremly hospitable and the rooms interesting and historic. I woudln't stay at any other place.

Home was built more than 100 years ago by William Clark, one of the 3 copper kings of the west. It is stately and contains all of the expensive amenities of the period. The massive wood works are impressive, as are the two large stained glass windows in the stairwell. We stayed in the master suite which consisted of three...

This mansion is one of a kind. The furnishings and décor are amazing. My husband and I stayed in the Butler's Room, which is perfect for a short stay. It is located right next to the shared bathroom - that's good or bad depending on how you look at it. The breakfast table was elegant and the breakfast itself was...

This place is so amazing compared to all the other B&Bs we stayed in on our trip - I can't believe it is so affordable. Be sure to take the tour (9:00-4:00 - free for guests) when you check in so you can see and experience the history of the whole house. It's like staying in a stunning museum. You...

We had a wonderful one night stay at the mansion! The owner of this home Erin grew up in the house. She and her husband still live on the third floor. We had the largest quarters of the B&B which was a very large bedroom, and living room, as well as private bathroom. Erin is a delightful host and knows...

This IS the place to stay in Butte. Very elegant full breakfast served in beautiful main dinning room. Feels like you live in Downton Abbey for a day! So many gems to explore. The owners are just as charming and interesting as the mansion. Worth taking the tour as well.

The amazing craftmanship, artistry, and history of this house should not be missed. The owners are lovely too. But I would have preferred to take the tour without staying the night. It smelled ooooooold and musty, and there were no showers.
