Always a pleasure to eat at the myrtos hotel. The food here is traditionally Greek , and with a very good choice of home cooked food. We opted for the chicken cooked in the oven, with slices of orange. The chicken melted in your mouth, and was served with the best roast potatoes I have had for a long time.... More

We went twice to have lunch and dinner. Fresh fish, typical greek food, very pleasant waitress (owner of the place?) Very nice place to go and to return! We dis not stayed at the hotel, but very good table.

A lovely shady taverna under the mulberry trees. The lamb from the oven and rabbit stiffado were excellent. Highly recommend making the trip out of Ierepetra, having lunch and a swim. Lovely sea breezes and excellent service.

The Hotel Myrtos used to be excelent with the kitchen ran by the owners wife, she also did a lot of the cooking but then the let the food side out to another group and the food quality dropped dramatically. The lady is now back in control and everything is as was. My favorite is the prawn saganaki. The service... More

We liked this place - especially the price and value. We had a nice room with a view over the sea, so ask for a top floor room when booking - and again at check-in. Bed is a bit hard, room is small but the tiny balcony made up for it. The location is literally 1/2 block from the pedestrian... More

We stayed in this hotel in October. It is a great location in the middle of the village, and yet so close to the seafront. The rooms were simple, clean with abundant hot water and ours had sea views. The staff and management are so welcoming and helpful. We also ate several times in the hotel restaurant, where the food... More

Had dinner here recently three times, as we were staying in the village. The food is very good , typically Cretan food, and some great daily specials. Had Calves liver, Artichokes, etc with the normal Greek food. Staff always very friendly, and welcoming. Looking forward to eating here in September

We arrived late on a Saturday night. We did Organise a transfer but with abit of miss communication it didn't come so we ended up getting a taxi which was fine. Check In was easy and they spoke English which was good. Buffet breakfast was easy but tasty, just basics like bacon, eggs, toast, cereal, yoghurt, croissants etc. we stayed two... More
