We rode our ATVs from Athol, Idaho to this lovely bed and breakfast. Our rooms were spotless and very spacious and included everything you could ask for. The food was out of this world and the hosts were super friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our meals out on the porch with amazing views and really enjoyed wandering around the property.... These wonderful lodging guests wanted to ride their ATV's "over the hills and through the woods" to our Inn from a town near Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. They made it! We rewarded this group with a complimentary BBQ sparerib dinner on our wrap-around deck. The reviewer was the Human Resource Director from our bank, Mountain West Bank of Idaho, and she... More

My husband and I wanted a scenic, tranquil getaway. We found that Amber Bear Inn surpassed our high expectations! We stayed in the Lovers Lair room with a gorgeous stone fireplace, four poster bed, huge bathroom with jacuzzi tub and amazing 360 degree views of wildlife and nature. To top it off, we found real Montana hospitality at it best... More

Thanks so much for your kind review. Montana is so beautiful, we're glad you decided on a mini-vacation to explore areas you hadn't been to. We're tucked away in a remote area of the State, sparsely populated and we're glad you found us! We take enormous pride in providing our guests a view of "Montana Wild". More

We've driven down Clark Fork Road before and had seen the signs for Amber Bear Inn. Yesterday we thought we'd stop by and see what it was all about. Seen from Highway 200, the Amber Bear Inn signs don't mention hours of operation, café open or closed, etc., just that it is ahead/turn this way or that way to get... More

Oh, my gosh! We felt awful by this remark and went through every bottle of beer in stock to ensure no more bottles lurked there with dates beyond the Best By dates. We also verified that none of our wine was expired and found no evidence of any product labels marred. Our Inn participates in the State's Tourist Oriented Directional... More

We loved everything about our stay. The hosts were wonderful and bent over backwards to make our stay lovely. We loved hiking up the hill with their goat following us to the beautiful view. Thanks for your kind review. Its always a pleasure when our guests enjoy the small amenities, the hiking out the back door, the pesky goats rescued and living on the grounds, the "old fashioned" feel, definitely not a commercial resort. Hope to see you again soon! More

We visited in late March 2014 and were absolutely blown away by the area. The "middle of nowhere" is not about the journey but rather about the destination. Its hard to find, but worth the search. This runner loved the world's best running surface, hard packed roads virtually traffic free. The air is clean out here and still quite cool.
