We pulled into Lincoln after a cold drizzly day on the motorcycle. The old Lincoln Log Hotel looked fun. We bailed on camping and ended up getting the last room. It had 2 single beds, surprisingly comfortable compared to what we have for our kids back home. In the classic style, the room was tight, but worked out fine, even...

I was saddened this week when I saw the for sale sign on the Lincoln Hotel. Don;t know what happened, but it has appeared from the number of cars in the parking lot that things haven't went well. Have no idea what has happened just saying. I've never stayed there but have drank a bit and ate there when it...

This place is awesome. If you love historical this is the place! It is a very old historical log hotel. It is maticulously clean. The logs are beautifully upkept! I love the squeaky hardwood floors. The old vintage style beds are super comfortable. We got a room with 2 beds and were pleasantly surprised that it was a 2 bedroom...

The only reason anybody puts anything bad about former owners is because the current owners are badmouthing them and they should be careful because that is slander or libel or something. I stayed here for the last 4 years and the owners were wonderful to me and my dog. The food was great and Lori was always a hoot to...

Such a fun experience. We are a swedish couple who came in late one afternoon in August this year. There was a big old fellow with a beard in the reception/bar. Can not remember his name. Such a nice man. One in a million. So funny. Reminded me of my dad. Sat and talked to the locals in the hotel...

We are elk hunting near Lincoln and found this to be best option in the area. Its a very old log cabin lodging. Many noises from the floors creaking. Beds are fair. Shower head sucks. More like a high pressure mist. Remote for TV will not work and manager can't figure it out. Restaurant in hotel closes at 5 but...

This hotel has historically had bad management and the "new" management appears to be following in the same manner. We had booked a room over one month in advance of a September 19 function. Knowing of the history, we called to confirm one week in advance and was told they could not find our reservation. Additionally, the hotel was fully...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in July, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The gentleman at the bar who checked us in had no idea what he was doing. He kept getting our name wrong and even gave us the keys to the wrong room. There is nothing in...

You'll have to decide that for yourself. I heard kids giggling and running the hall on the 2nd floor. No children were checked into the hotel that night, I asked. The room was very rustic, pretty comfy bed, I should have brought my own pillow, however I forgot. Very clean room, bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water. Friendly...

Well the Hotel Lincoln has reopened, I was down about a week ago and had a good time. They have lengthened and added on to the bar and I think it is very nice. I've heard and seen a little that indicates they are adding a few RV spaces. I've also heard they are adding a Mexican Restaurant but haven't...

“Choose a room away from the entrance of the hotel towards the end of the hotel and away from the stairs. The second floor is said to be haunted. You can even stay in one of the haunted rooms, either room 17 or 22. :)”
