As another reviewer noted, planned one night stayed two! Hitching Post close for food and drink...Hitching post was another pleasant surprise. I expected typical bar food but had great breakasts and dinners. Flyshop was also close to the motel so one-stop-shopping for sure. We will make this location a regular in our future plans when fishing the Big Hole and...

As mentioned by another reviewer, this is a reasonable distance to Glacier National Park. We left St Marys (East Glacier) in the morning and arrived in mid afternoon including a stop in Butte that was about an hour long. The grass is well watered which is nice with our dog. Both in front of the motel and the RV/ tent...

We stayed here as a stop going up to, and coming back from Glacier National Park. On the way up we set up in their tent space. The area is full of grass instead of the usual gravel, the bathrooms and showers were clean. We forgot towels for the trip and the new owners were so accommodating to loan us...

We recently spent some time in and around Melrose (Wise River, Divide) area and stayed in one of their 2 cabins. Cabin was clean. Bed was good. It had all the pans, dishes, towels, and appliances you might need (less a hair dryer ladies), TV in main area & bedroom Located near great hiking & fishing, right off I-15 but...

WE wanted a small, quiet place for a couple of days. Was actually really pleased when we got there-easy in and out from I-15, good roads. RV park very small with 8 sites with 30amp and 1 with 50amp- full hook up with free excellent wifi. We used site 1 and loved it. Not fancy but clean and well kept....

We had stayed here in the motel rooms before, but this time had our RV. The warm, friendly owners have a wonderful facility - clean, accommodating. The restrooms and laundry were great. Drinks and ice for coolers were available at a low cost. Nearby fly fishing opportunities were plentiful. We will definitely be back.

This is the 3rd time that I have stayed at the Sportsman, and every time has been great. We have used the cabins with kitchen each time. Twice for fall fishing with my son, and this summer for a fishing vacation with my wife. The cabins have a spacious kitchen for this kind of accommodation with a roomy fridge, 4...

We stayed at the Sportsman Motel last week during a fly fishing trip to the Big Hole. This was our first time staying here and I didn't know what to expect. We were all very pleased with the motel. The rooms were very clean, the owner very friendly, and the price very reasonable. They even had Direct TV which allowed...

We got the Sportsman right in the middle of a snow storm. It saved our life (almost...). Room clean, confy, very quiet, spacious and, moneywise, affordable. Chuck, the host, was very kind. Recommended to those seeking a quiet place to rest.
